Leviton 41089-2WP QuickPort 2-Port Surface-Mount Housing, White

This is my absolute go-to when having to run structured cabling in areas where it's not viable to have a full-sized surface mount box and wall plate for cabling. This product has an "ID Window" as Leviton refers to it in their other QuickPort products which makes it easy for installers to label the necessary port(s) while also providing some protection with the plastic window over the labeling to provide a basic deterrent compared to a label on the side of the port, and provides for a much cleaner install appearance.

No complaints about this. They work like they are supposed to. I have installed a few and they work with both different brands of cat6 jacks that I had lying around (not sure of the brands off the top of my head). Slick looking and easy to install. I bought a few extra just to have around in case I need to add any jacks to the network in my restaurant. They don't come apart easily once they're installed, which depending on your perspective, could be a pro or a con. Nice and handy if you don't want to take the time to install a flush mount in the wall; who really likes dealing with cutting drywall if they don't have to?

Have used four of these in my house so far; wiring cat-6 for networking and using an old spool of cat-5 for a couple legacy voice lines. Local box store stopped carrying Leviton for a brand that is complete junk. These are the ones you want. Better prices here anyway. Worth noting that the quickport connectors I use in here have 'up' going the opposite way one might expect...if they're giving you trouble when inserting, give it a try the opposite way.

These work well. They have a sticky pad and screws for mounting. It comes with one blank face in case you only need one port. Works with just about every RJ45 & RJ11 jack out there. The wide base jacks (wires connect across the back instead of down each side) do not fit as good as the straight ones. I have been using this product for well over 15 years, and never have any issues with the product itself.

These are my go-to units when I add wired Ethernet ports around the house. Our house is one-story, and rather spread out. We also have pretty steady media demands, so I've installed ethernet ports across the house to get decent Internet access and WiFi coverage. These are the boxes I use. Pull the cable, use the Cat-6 punch-down connectors, and you're in service.

They worked well, but the modules were very hard to snap in and then lord help you if you have to snap it back out for any reason.

If you want bright white, then these are great. I can't comment further as I will be returning the item for the sole purpose that it is too white for my semi off white application.
