Amazon verified purchase: Tiredness in my feet and legs are now gone!
I am an extremely busy person and do not like being felled by tired feet and/or legs. I ordered a pair of these knee socks to see if they would help me keep going--they do! At the same time as I ordered these Prestige socks from Amazon, I also ordered some Miracle socks (the ones from the TV ads)from Amazon, too. The Prestige socks came in a few days, just as in keeping with Amazon's great record of customer service. But, Amazon had to cancel the Miracle socks order several days later due to out-of-stock problems (not Amazon's fault I am sure--I have had this happen often upon ordering direct from the TV ads products order desks. Such orders often resulted in a back-order of several months, not to mention astronomical surprises in "shipping and handling costs". Those TV ads phone order people seem to view my credit card as an open invitation to charge more than they originally quoted me. I will never order direct from those people again. If I want their products, I will order them from Amazon--Amazon has never violated my trust!). Now, I am glad about the Miracle Socks order cancellation--I am so satisfied with the Prestige socks that I have ordered several more pairs from Amazon. I recommend trying these before you order Miracle socks, which cost more than twice as much as the Prestige socks.

Great LIGHT compression socks
Other reviewers have crabbed about these not being REAL compression socks. The packaging says right on them LIGHT compression socks. They have the fabric feel of dress socks, so if you are really a nurse you'll want to wear regular socks over them for all day comfort.I got these because my last pregnancy left me with some vericose and spider veins on my left shin/ankle. They were starting to ache on days I was on my feet. These socks really help! My veins are not to the point I need the granny-type compression socks so these were perfect!ON the sizing, I wear a size 10 womens shoe and they fit my feet perfect and came as high as 2" below the knee. I am also 5'9". If I had a smaller foot these would NOT be for me since they are not designed like nylons but have an actual foot shape with heal.I also have an athletic build, if my legs were bigger they might be unconfortable at the very top where the bind-off is tighter than the rest of the sock. For me they are perfect and I wear them all the time. I bought a black pair and a white pair.

Great Value!
I have had these a few weeks now and have used a few times. I bought them because I am prone to shin splints and I train my upper & lower legs really hard doing kungfu. I can report no shin splints since using these. The socks stay in place and do not roll down. I can feel the compression they give which I can tell protects my legs, increases my circulation, and aids my recovery. My only complaint would be that I wish they fit me in the foot area a little better. They are a little long in the foot. I am going to get some more pairs. They are a well-made and a good value, for the price.

Comfortable with slightly large foot
Cute. The foot portion is slightly large for me, but I'm still able to wear the sock. Love the amount of pressure with this sock. Leaves my legs feeling wonderful after a shift on my feet.

Just ok
I bought these because after becoming pregnant I was having a lot of problems with my feet/legs and my doctor said these might help. They are decent but did not have as strong of compression as some I had picked up from Rite Aid. Also one sock out of the several has started to fall apart. Not sure why only one but it is pilling and the thread is coming loose. For the money I would have thought they would have lasted longer. The other pairs seem ok so far although they're definitely showing signs of wear. These are decent but I think for the money you can find others that are better.

They work for me
I was wearing TED hose to work to keep my legs from aching after a long stretch of standing on cement floors all day. The TED's drove me crazy because of the hole in the toe area. The TED's also would leave impressions below my knees and would slip down causing me to be constantly pulling them back up. I searched and searched for compression stocking that would give the same support as the TED's but would be more comfortable. Finally I stumbled on to these socks that did the trick. They stay up, don't cause ridges in my legs and are very comfortable. I have long legs but these socks come up high enough to reach below my knees. They are "one size fits all" so I can see where they may be tight on anyone who has large calves. I bought three pairs and plan to order more in black to wear with my jeans.

Compression sock - Just ordinary long sock
I am so eager to try on this compression socks as my calves and feets tends to swell when I am on foot a lot. Unfortunately, it is only a long extended socks. I am 5' 8" and this socks goes over my knees. I expected that this socks has some special compression all around the body of the socks but it is nothing But a regular ordinary socks. The tail opening is so tight hence it is making it more uncomfortable to wear. I will keep on searching for TRUE COMPRESSION SOCK product. But This is just ordinary Over Price white sock. What a waste of money.

QUALITY AND COMFORT...
I have purchased about 6 pairs of these stockings because I never want to be without them. These are by far the softest support stocking I have ever seen! They fit snuggly on your leg up to your calf and they never slide down. I forget I have them on, they are so comfortable. I wear mine several days in a row then I forgot and put them in the washer with my other whites, with hot water and bleach and they always come out in the dryer as if they were new. I have another brand that I did that to and they were hard and uncomfortable. With these you don't hav to hav fabric softner, it is just a good quality of cotton!
