Good looking and useful Control Set
I used this product with my own custom made wiring harness on my 1973 Norton Commando Production Racer. I wanted a control set with a useful layout and compact design. This is a "value" set of controls and may not be as robust as a much more expensive set but these controls meet my needs perfectly.Download or "screen shot" the wiring diagram for the controls from the sales listing and keep a copy for installation, this will give you the codes for wire colors/connections for each control function.

Possibly broke my bike
So I am started installing the product and I did it one end at a time. I started with the left side and the plug matched no problem and that one was very simple very easy. But there is a problem with it more on that in a minute. Then I started installing the right side in the plug was not the correct fit for mine I figured as much because mine did it have multiple headlight options on the old one anyways. The right one seems a little loose and I'm pretty sure I have the screws as tight as they could go before they start stripping. As I pulled my throttle it wants to pull all of the housing for the switch down. Once I got everything wired up and good to go I tried starting the bike and checking out some of the switches. I first tried to just use my turn signals and see if they worked. Started with the left one I look back at my turn signals and the right one was flickering. I thought okay I'll just use it backwards no big deal. And then I tried using the right turn signal and for some reason it tried to start the bike. I don't know how that could happen like I said I did it one at a time and the plug match the plug I didn't have to do any stripping or crimping. Once that happened I haven't been able to get my bike on since I don't know what it fried but it did fry something. Just be very careful and do it at your own risk

Both switch harnesses was 4inches shorter than the original switch harness!
The Switches were quality switches, but the harness on the switches were 4inches shorter than the Original! The Right Switch was only designed for the Pull Throttle Cable, and could have been designed for the Push/Pull Trottle System by having the second hole to accommodate the Push cable, and Simply putting a plug in it for just the Pull System! I drilled and tapped the second hole and the throttle worked perfectly! I couldn't fit it without major harness alterations!

No diagram.
This is an aftermarket electrical component why did it not come with a diagram. It’s not plug and play with my Honda. Which I expected. It’s an old bike. What I didn’t expect was no diagram to tell me what each of the wires is for. Thanks. What a pain in the butt…

Needs wiring diagram
Could not use either switch die to the wiring did not match and could not find a diagram for switches. I ended up buying a OEM switch and had no problems.
