FunTime Carnival Style 4-Ounce Hot Oil Popcorn Machine, Black

Love this new popper for our Home Theater!I first ordered a Funtime FT421CR Antique Carnival-Style 4-Ounce Tabletop Hot-Oil Popcorn Popper, Red - but it was damaged in shipping and UPS sent it back without delivery. Great customer service from UPS, saved the hassle of repack and return of damaged unit.This turned out to be a blessing because after more thought we realized a popper with a cart would be more useful, and a black color would better match the decor.The Funtime arrived unharmed this time and I proceeded to assemble the cart....except there were no instructions. I found the assembly manual on the Funtime website - [...]What a handsome unit. Well made, sturdy and lots of storage in the cart for supplies. The popcorn is very tasty and tender (remember to leave the door open while popping to let the steam escape). I bought Great Northern Popcorn, 4-Ounce Portion Packs (Pack of 24)for ease of use.I would recommend this to anyone wanting fresh theater style popcorn for their home.P.S. The Amazon description states that a stainless scoop/measuring set and a stainless topping shaker are included....mine did not include a shaker and the scoop/measuring set was plastic. Not a big deal...but description should be updated.

This machine is fabulous! I love movie theater popcorn but hate going to the movies. This popper allows me to have that popcorn whenever I wish.Assembly was pretty easy. Took a little longer for me since I had to figure out where the cylinders went that fit on the wheels. I also bought the pre-measured popcorn 24-5.4 oz. Snap-Paks for 4 oz. Poppers - Yellow Popcorn, Coconut Oil, Buttery Flavored Salt by Snappy Popcorn and the Kernel Seasons movie theater butter flavored topping (Walmart has it). Everything fits conveniently in the compartment in the unit. It is easy to clean. I am one person so this unit is perfect for capacity. I keep it in the corner in the dining room so it is already readily available. 3-4 people should be able to have a normal sized portion per batch.[[

I have never written a review before however I am so upset with this purchase that I have decided to. The popcorn maker itself is ok, no complaints with that.The stand however. The stand did not come with instructions. It came with a box of loose bolts, washers, nuts (many which were missing when it was all said and done) the metal welds were done so poorly that I have bent brackets in which the popcorn machine is supposed to sit on is not level making the whole think look like junk. There are noticeable dents in every piece of metal… If I could give no stars I would. If there was any type of quality control the until I received should have ended up in a junk yard.

**Update** once I got over the frustration of putting it together I am upping my stars to 4. I’ve now had this for 4 years. It’s held up great and we use it monthly. Does a good job and everything tastes great. Very little maintenance. Hopefully they have improved on assembly and quality control of damaged items.Came with no instructions that related to putting this together. Have a bunch of nuts and bolts and I’m looking at the pictures online to try to figure out where they go on the base. Also the top came deeply scratched on the top. It’s Christmas Eve and I’m stuck trying to make this work.

I purchased this popcorn machine for the showroom of our car dealership and it works great! It is smaller than one that we had previously so the machine looks fuller without having to make endless bags of popcorn that will get thrown away after a few hours. The key to these machines is making sure you have the right size bags of popcorn to dump into it and to not set it and forget it. If you dump the popcorn in and walkaway without checking back the popcorn will burn at the end from endlessly sitting in the pot. I prefer this machine over the 8oz machine because it is less wasted popcorn and less machine to clean. I highly recommend for the price.

Beautiful machine and it is the perfect size kettle for the two of us. We love it! With the right corn, some coconut oil and Flavacol, it's almost just like having movie theater popcorn! Almost! The directions were kind of vague, but I managed to figure it out. My husband would have been lost and broke the damn thing. Lol! Thank God he waited until I got home. But the directions could be a little more involved. J/S

Me and my sister bought this for my parents for Christmas. And they LOVED it !Was easy to put together, and they use it all the time :-)

No instructions to assemble it,which created a long time to assemble

This popcorn machine is perfect for two people. It's much smaller than the photo shows, but it does the job & is very cute. Look online to learn how to assemble.

Was missing the rod for the wheels , had to build one out of metal rod and tap the ends(first picture), also was missing one of the square tube cross braces (2nd picture) not enough time before Christmas to return it so had to improvise not impressed at all
