A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online (2nd edition) Review: best book for day trading I've read - I've read a dozen other books on swing and day trading. I paid hundreds of dollars for a terrific trading course that delivered as promised. This is much better than the course I took, much better than the other books. I've been trading full time for 2 1/2 years, sad to say that I've been losing money. I 'm now showing a more consistent profit, small as it may be. I feel more in control and less emotional. That started happening about a fifth of the way into Toni Turner's book. A great beginner's book but I think it's a great read for intermediate traders too. My other favorite books are Trading in the Zone, Best Loser Wins, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. As much as I enjoyed and benefited by those books, I would only highly encourage reading Trading in the Zone and this book, and I would recommend starting with this book. A person could read this book and start trading, whereas the other will make you a better trader but won't teach you how to trade. It's not just that the info is good, it's how it's presented. Lots of charts that are easy to read. Her style of teaching gets to the heart of the mindset, actions and expectations of a profitable trader. Each chapter (so far) has a quiz at the end of it. There are inspirational writings, only one page in length, that are very helpful, but a reader can skim past those if they want to get to the more hands on info. If you're brand new to trading, you'll benefit from this book. (There's no need to pay hundreds for a course either, btw.) If you've been trading for some time and struggling, this book might be the answer to ending that struggle. Review: Great Book for Traders or Investors - I have been following the stock market for over 30 years and have read well over 100 books on investing (although this was the first on trading). I decided to read this book not because I am thinking about trying day trading, but just out of a great interest in the subject. It may sound strange, but this was the first book I have ever read that went into detail about candle stick charts. I have seen these charts for years, but never really knew how to read them. That alone made this book worth reading to me. The author does a wonderful job of explaining these charts, along with several other tools. If you are thinking about day trading as a profession, or if you are already doing that but want to continue learning new ideas, then this is a great starting point. It is well written in an easy to read style. Also, each chapter ends with quizzes that allow you to test how well you are retaining the information you just read. I loved that and found that I was fairly good at answering those questions. If you are an investor interesting in learning more about the nuts and bolts of the stock market, this is also a good starting point for you, because Ms Turner does a great job of explaining in detail how the stock market works. Just remember, this book was written specifically for short term trading, so while much of the material does apply to long term investments, not all of it will.

This book had good information in it
This book had good information in it. The problem was that in the midst of all that information was so much extra clutter that was very unnecessary for the book. I feel the author felt that she needed to keep the reader interested and put a bunch of little jokes and side stories/analogies to every single situation. This only made this book a much longer read than necessary. A big positive was that Toni Turner touched on a multitude of trading subjects such as day trading, swing trading, etc. She showed she has a lot of knowledge in the field and had good advise. If you like this book you will really enjoy Understanding Stock and Understanding Options both of which are written by Michael Sincere. Understanding Stocks 2E Disclosure: I am not new to the trading scene. I dabble in options, day trading and long term investments and do at one point plan on making a career out of trading.

Makes Day Trading Feel Less Like Rocket Science
This book does exactly what it promises — it makes day trading actually make sense. The chapters are clear, beginner-friendly, and don’t make you feel like you need a finance degree just to keep up. It breaks down strategies, risks, and mindset in a way that’s simple but still useful. Perfect for anyone dipping their toes into the trading world without wanting to blow up their account on day one. Great starter guide and an easy read.

Not bad, learn a few things, beginners guide is perfect name for it.
Comes across in the wording as a little more authoritative than it should. Teaching stock trading especially to new people should been done in such a way that does not sound like each idea is gospel. Good, but if you are totally new take it all with a grain of salt.

Still working through, but amazing book thus far!
I am on a personal journey to learn the art of day-trading. I am working through the content of this book and so far I really appreciate the heart that the author put into this book. The author clearly cares about teaching her audience to avoid common mistakes & pitfalls for the novice trader. The tone and writing style is very conversational and while there are a ton of words on each page (smaller print & packed with content), the length and density of text does NOT feel dull or boring. There is a whole lot to learn when becoming a trader and this book is a great start for anyone aspiring to trade as a career or hobby. I would recommend this book to anyone regardless of experience level. I would recommend this book especially if you are interested in learning to trade or invest in the stock market.

Amazing book for beginner day traders ! It has all the stock market ingredients for a new comer in to the trade ! I am lucky that I read this prior to venturing into trading with real money, and I am organizing 'my stock trading battle' exactly the same way this book recommends me to.

I've never read a book teaching intraday in my trading career, that was as informative as this one. Thank you author Toni Turner for your in-depth analysis of the day trading. This book taught me how to approach the market, psychologically, fundamentally and technically as well. I'm reading again and again. I strongly recommend this book for those who wish to learn and earn in swing and intraday.
