The handle is fixed an can’t be changed.

Yes bought this a month ago and it is a good bit of kit. Use for Tricep push downs or overhead Tricep extensions and can change it and use it for biceps too. It's excellent.

Q: Can this be used with plates with a 1inch hole

Yes, mine are thar size. The bar is less than an inch wide 👍🏻 it's a good piece of kit
