This product works so well. We use it on goats each year.
The ease of use of this product is so nice compared to burning horns off my goats. 1 little circle on each horn the day after they are born, done! I just wish it was a bigger container.

Quick and effective
Quick and effective. You don't need NEAR the amount called for (a dime's worth is plenty), nor do you need to apply a thick layer (just enough to cover the horn buds is good). I also recommend holding their head still for 10 - 15 minutes so they don't rub it on things and spread the paste around.

Took the horn buds off completely. BUT STEER WAS LAYING AROUND LIKE HE WAS GOING TO DIE! Made him sick, and tried to secure him and he rubbed paste on his ears. Tried to stop him but it ate HUGE holes in his ears weeks. JUST BE CAREFUL. Some toxic stuff.

Does the job!
If you de-horn while the calves are young, its the way to go. With the paste there is No blood, No burning. It's not the most pleasant thing to have to do, but this (I feel) is the most humane way to de-horn.

This stuff should not even be sold!
Extremely hard to use and burned the hair off our calves and where ever else they happen to get it! After reading g all the warnings, I should have never ordered it. Husband threw this crap away!

Easy to use and works great. Would recommend for use on baby goats. My only complaint is that you have to use it very early on with the baby goats.

Naylor dehorning paste
I have use this brand of dehorning paste before and it works great, but make sure you follow directions and you'll get good results with little trouble....

What a hassle!!!
Horrible...I'm sure if the paste stayed where it is supposed to works very well but, as soon as it starts burning, the calves go ballistic! Rubbing their heads all over, running around acting awful! In the end, I had it all over me, it was all over the calves and the barn. I spent the afternoon bathing the calves so they didn't have caustic burns all over their legs, face and shoulders...just go with dehorning...more expensive and painful for the calves but less hassle!
