I have been using Poolife 6-way test strips which were recommended by the hot tub store that I purchased my tub from. I was trying to save money by buying the test strips 6 in 1 instead of the poolife strips. The 6 in 1 test strips gave completely different test results than the Poolife strips. I tried a total of 4 times...2 poolife strips & 2 Test Strips 6 in 1. The ph, alkalinity, & hardness were especially totally different when comparing the Poolife to the Test strips/6 in 1. I have had my water tested on a computer at the hot tub store and their readings pretty much coincided with the poolife strips. So, I have to conclude that the Test strips 6 in 1 do not accurately analyze my hot tub water. I guess you get what you pay for.

Don't use these test strips, they report the same results regardless to the actual condition of your pool. After adding products to my pool to correct some of these readings and seeing no improvements (as reported by these strips) I took my water to the pool store and they reported completely different results. I went home and tested my pool once more with these test strips and they once again reported the exact same wrong readings. I then placed the bottle with the remaining strips in the trash where they belong. DO NOT BUY.

These test strips do not seem to be accurate and do not give the same results as the Taylor test ran at my local pool supply store.

I wish I had read other reviews before i got them, the colors run and are impossible to read. The numbers are way off. Save your money.

Didnt work

Tried these today....used 4 and could not get a good reading. The colors on the strip are not spaced far enough apart to get reading. As soon as you pull it out , no matter how you hold it after gently shaking off excess water the colors immediately run together making it impossible to read. VERY disappointed, would like my money back! Would not purchase again.

The strips do not seem accurate. One of the readings is always bad on every strip.
