CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL NOT INCLUDED BUT APART FROM THAT EVERYTHING TO DO JOB. FITTED A MONTH AGO NOW AND NO PROBLEMS.

Kit fitted and engine running again. Quality fine and includes almost every part you need. The only thing missing is the timing end crankshaft seal, which is worth changing while you have it in bits and it's cheap enough.The righthand guide is the new longer style and the chain looks identical.The tensioner is included in the kit but the spring was weaker than the unit I got direct from VW and while it appears brand new, some of the cast in numbers present on the VW supplied unit, are ground off on the one supplied in this kit.Only time will tell if it's quality is equal to a kit supplied by VW, but it works and at the price, it's hard to argue.HINT - Buy a high quality tool to hold the sprockets in place while undoing/tightening the crank sprockets. The timing tools are not strong enough to hold the torque and a cheap tool WILL SLIP (Ouch)

The sprockets with this set areUnsuitable for job, the metal is half the thickness of proper onesYou only find this out after 6 hours of mechanics time.So the timming chain cover etc had to be removed and put old sprockets back, let's hope the chain dosent break..Very poor quality itemsJust to help others the chain dosent fit skoda sprockets so not fit for purpose, you need to check your items fit what you say they fit, terrible sale
