Tacks are good quality , fine appearance but as the info about them indicated, they are light duty, i used them as decoration on a hopeless chest made of Oak and had to drill a hole before driving in place. That was in the description so no gripes from me but pay attention.

These tacks are large and very handsome hardware bits. For some reason, despite packaging in a case, several of the pins are bent, but can be straightened and none the worse for it. Sturdy, nice finish.

I attached to an old butcher block to give a modern look. Husband was skeptical but he was very pleased with outcome.

These looked amazing down the side of a headboard but but extra for your project. A third of them had the tack stem bend going into the wood causing the alignment to be off so i would have to redo. I used the tacks with the bent stems to make buttons by bending the stem into a loop to be used at a later time. Nothing wasted.

I had to return these tacks because they were too big for my projects. However, they really are nice!
