Bite this color and nothing else
On 2 separate occasions I've been in schools of speckle trout, Eastern NC. Both times they would hit this color of MR17 and NOTHING else. No soft bait under popping cork of any color, no swim baits, no topwater, no other hard suspending baits. However every cast with this color MR would bring a strike and most times a fish. Granted most were in the 13"-14" range but for whatever reason they would strike this bait and nothing else. It must be fished slowly though.
