This dog jacket really helps to increase the amount of control you have and decrease the amount of exertion it takes to gain that control.An added benefit is that you can leash from under the head on the chest, or behind the head between the top of the front legs.Looks good too...nice & effective design overall!

I will start by saying that this is advertised as a "no pull harness"... and with that, I cannot agree. I do not find that it limits or discourages pulling at all; honestly, I find that harnesses usually give a dog my leverage to pull. So, for that, I would give it 1*.Now, this harness is actually 1746937* for me personally, because of how it fits my 65# senior boy. Being 12 years old, he has a variety of lumps and bumps on his body... one being near his throat. On a regular basis, his collar does not bother him. However, when on leash he pulls and it puts pressure on his lump and seems to make him uncomfortable. With this harness, it avoids that area all together. It also has a large enough space of material (instead of just the nylon straps that a lot of harnesses have) to where it's not putting too much pressure on any one area of his chest or under his armpits.He pulls enough to where a nice fabric lightweight "harness" won't work for him, so this still gives me a sense of security that hes not going to get away from me while wearing it, while also keeping him more comfortable (which is the biggest key factor for me).

I used this harness for the back clip to go running with my dog. She is a puller, but I have enjoyed the physical activity with my dog tremendously and so I use the back clip to allow her to pull me. It works for us.I found the front clip essentially useless, but that is not why i got this harness.Today the harness broke. The D clip ripped from the harness stitching. This harness was heavily used for 2 years.For 2 years, at this price point, I would say it is a great harness. I will purchase this harness again based on this positive experience. Could I find a better harness that lasts much longer? maybe. but maybe not. maybe it wouldn't last 2 weeks. So im sticking with this harness. If every 2 years I have to buy another one based off our heavy usage, than so be it. A sufficient solution.

My Husky is 6 months old and broke this harness within a day!!!!! Would not recommend especially if your Husky puppy is strong. UPDATE!!!!!! The company reached out to me and replaced my harness for FREE….. The new harness did not break when we walked Max. I would recommend this product and you do have any problems the Company has Great customer service

(I also got a camouflage one, so I’ll be adding this review to that page as well)Nico is a stubborn dog. You can call his name repeatedly, and give any command and will be ignored unwaveringly. However, when this harness went on he tried to pull and run in the field we took him out to, i put a quick stop to this pulling him back and kept him near me until he was relatively calm. Then, I had him sit in a few spots with flowers in the background and he went from leaping and running to sitting every time I told him, then even holding the sit without having to be asked. I was incredibly proud of him, considering his 7 year history of hardheadedness! When the top priority photos were over with, I let him run through the field *almost* freely on the retractable leash, and he loved every minute of it. At the end, we were making our way out and I saw the other side of the field. I asked him to sit and his fluffy little butt hit the grass. I took a few more pictures for memory’s sake and praised his streak of obedience. “okay! Let’s go! Good boy, come on!” However, he didn’t budge. It wasn’t until I stood up and said “come on, let’s go! That he actually leapt to his feet and ran ahead of me, eager to be reunited his papa in the car (who was holding the pizza that he’d surely gotten a strong whiff of before we had arrived at the field).My favorite thing about the harnesses, is that they fit him snug, despite his narrower chest, and that it had a handle on the harness, as well as a a ring on the front for leash clipping. This feature is great for taking photos, and it’s a shame I didn’t notice it sooner! Finally, the harness is extremely easy to put on our boy and we don’t have to fight with his legs (which he PREFERS not to be defiled by likes of human hands, yuck.) just to get it on.

When I got the product, removed from the package it took me a day to realize, once on the animal, that the reflective portion of the body straps were sewn with the reflective portion inverted. Reflective portion of the strapping was facing the animal. Began adjusting the straps for the animal's size and one of the slip buckles, which appeared to have never been sewn, came apart in my hand. The harness is super stiff and does not want to conform to the animal's structure, this went on an 80Lb German Sheppard. Harness was stiff and was difficult for the animal to get comfortable in. I would not buy this product again, went back to using old harness till I can find another suitable replacement.
