Russell Athletics Men's Dri Power Essential Performance Shorts with Pocket - Workout and Gym Active Wear

These are lightweight and cool athletic shorts. They wash and dry well, no shrinkage. Pockets are deep enough. Very comfortable.Bought XL as I’m a big guy, 6’2” 275lbs. They well. Bought 3 pair total.

Took me 4 days to decide what shorts I really wanted to order right. Changed my mind on the 4 different brands I kept adding in my cart. Read all reviews on all brands. Then came this one eh’ . When the purchaser of a pair of these shorts commented and said the feel of them while wearing them without undies on were unbelievably I had to see for myself. He wasn’t lying. The feel of the material is definitely worthy of my praise. Deep pockets as well. HT 5’11-WT 285

These shorts fit well but do run big.....which is ok with my husband (3x)If your man is under 6ft these will be long.....unless he likes very long...The only problem that bothers me is that they wrinkle like crazyTried air fluff in dryer and also low heat for 5 min to remove wrinklesBUT that didn't helpSo I have to touch up with ironIf you are of the generation that doesn't own an iron.....these aren't for youOther than wrinkles the product is made well & is holding up well to multiple washings

If you're one of those guys that demands his shorts be hoochie daddy shorts (WAY ABOVE THE KNEE) these are NOT for you. These go past the knee, or just at the knee on me. Im 6'1" 230.I love the flowy free feel of them. They are thin, so if you go commando/freeball (no underwear) like me be prepared for your junk to bounce around when you walk. That doesn't bother me at all.The stitching seams quality, the material seems quality and I am quite pleased with these.

I ordered the XL and they fit perfectly. I'm 6'2"/235lbs and normally wear size 38 waist in pants and shorts. As I've gained about 10-12 pounds recently, I would speculate that I am a 39 waist and these shorts would appear to fit fine for a 38-40 inch waist. The draw chord is a little short, but works well enough that I'm not taking any stars away. I've been using these shorts for a few weeks in the gym and they are comfortable at rest and while lifting and fit loosely, which I prefer. I've washed them about a dozen times and they seem to be holding up well and the color is still perfect. I carry my keys in my pocket and have not seen any holes forming in the pocket lining.So I recently ordered 2 more pairs!

Feels like the quality is gone down on these shirts in the last five or six years, they used to seem like really well-made exercise clothing now it feels like there one away from being prefab material.

Size fit as expected, I always order a size larger for more breathing room

I purchased both Russell Athletic and another slightly more expensive brand to compare, and to my surprise, the Russell shorts (both Dri-Power and the Mesh options) are not only slightly cheaper, they fit better and the quality is better as well! The braided loop tie-cords looked similar on all the models (except Dri-Power, which has an elastic-y traditional tie-cord) but to my surprise, one of the tie-cords already began to fray on the other brand's mesh short. I've worn these Russell shorts a few times now and they're holding up great. My only complaint is that I'm a short guy and these shorts go all the way to my knees but that's not a bother when I'm on the court. I highly recommend Russell Athletic shorts (especially the Dri-Power Performance models).

Fitting is el-perfecto. The pockets are deep. The only area of improvement is a bit of lining would have helped.
