Same brightness as rofis R3 with double the lumens?
I currently own the rofis r3 and the rofis r2, this is the roughly the same brightness if not marginally a little brighter than the r3 so I'm not sure where the 2300 lumens in Turbo (which you need to double tap to turn mode on) is coming from, I love the rofis r series flashlights but save your money on this one and wait for the next one. Also, I find that the magnet in the tail cap is a little bit on the weaker side. If you don't have this series, buy the rofis r3, you won't be disappointed but if you do already own one, skip the upgrade.

Magnetic tail cap and swivel head. 21700 battery allows for high output and long runtimes
This is my first light from Rofis and overall, I’m really impressed with it. The materials and build quality are excellent. Included in the box are the flashlight, 21700 battery, magnetic charging cable, holster, lanyard, extra o-rings, and the user manual. The main feature that separates the R4 from a traditional flashlight is that the head is able to rotate from 0 degrees to 90 degrees and anywhere in between. It also has a very strong magnetic tail cap so it will be very useful while working around the house and car. The 21700 battery has 5000 mAh so it’s capable of really long runtimes. Charging the battery is a breeze. You simply attach the charging cable to the magnetic side port on the flashlight. The power switch will have a red light while charging and turn green when fully charged. The cable is a special cable so you’re not able to charge the battery if you lose or break the cable. The flashlight does have a battery level indicator but unfortunately it only shows you when you first insert the battery. There isn’t a way to check it unless you remove and reinstall the battery. The user interface is simple and similar to a lot of other lights. You press the button to turn on and off. Once on, you long press to cycle through the outputs. Double press for strobe and once there, long press for SOS. It also has mode memory so if you turn the light off in low mode, it comes on in low the next time. The light is capable of 2300 lumens on turbo but only lasts for a minute or two then automatically drops down to prevent overheating. Another nice feature is having a lockout which prevents the light from accidentally coming on while in your pocket or the holster. The included holster is actually nice and seems like it’s pretty durable.

Best swivel head light ?
Package- This light really is the full package to get you going , it includes a high quality 21700 rofis branded battery , charging cable , holster , lanyard , all warranty paperwork , and spare o rings Incase you damage yours .Build quality- The rofis r4 build quality really impressed me , first off it has flawless anodizing , quality threads , led arrived perfectly centered and twist head has just the perfect amount of tension where it’s not difficult to turn yet it won’t turn on its own due to the weight of the head .Performance- The rofis r4 has a very pleasant beam with its xhp50 and textured reflector and nice tint . Swivel head works perfectly and allows for a nice carry in hand and also has a body clip to allow light to be clipped to your shirt or pants if you need your hands available for other things . This light is bright , much brighter than many other similar lights on the market and as excellent battery life with the large capacity ( included ) 21700 battery .User interface - The user interface is perfect in my opinion for a light like this with double click instant access to turbo and triple click to strobe. When light is off short click to turn on and hold switch to cycle through low , medium and high. When light is off also hold switch to lock light out and hold again to unlock light .

Tradesmans best friend!
The rofis r4 is my favorite new light. I work in the automotive industry and I've been using this unit for 2 weeks in a busy shop environment and it has held up well. I've dropped it a few times and have had no issues still. The magnet is plenty strong for the unit to hold anywhere I've needed it too. The large battery in the r4 is excellent and has given me consistent performance with constant use for a couple days. Highly reccomend the rofis r4 for anyone looking for a handy, functional and high powered flashlight.

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just when you thought a flashlight couldn't get any brighter, along came a spider! :-) This is a rather powerful 2300 lumens ( claims ) which I am not sure if that claim is supported. I've tested some powerful ones and as far as size and power, this stacks right up with them. The modes of display are all the same and the mechanisms of how it works with the features are all the same. The battery is special type and it's the easiest thing to ever charge to the best of my knowledge. The magnetic tail cap is so-so but it does the job. LIke I said, the size is perfect and is BLINDINGLY bright!!!!!!!!

Rofis has done it again !
I own many flashlights and the Rofis R4 does not disappoint! The swivel design makes this extra useful and versatile for any situation. Love the magnetic tailcap. it blasts a ton of light long range but also has a nice balance of flood light. Just used it for a comapinbgtrio this weekend. loved it! . i highly recommend this gem!

Weak magnetic tailcap
Magnetic tailcap not strong enough, head angle droops downward because weight of head too much for magnet. Will have find another stronger magnet or probably just return it. Rofis probably just used same magnet from R3, not accounting for heavier head of R4.6/6/19 Edit: Skyben refunded me, and will give feedback to Rofis.
