Reverse Reasoning by Examining How Human's are Made ! ! !
As the Title indicates : What Darwin Didn't Know. Darwin's Evolutionary Theory was devoid of today's medical and microbiological discoveries. This book looks at these, what is "KNOWN NOW", from Medical perspective of human's (how made), and then compares the simple test does this fit the "evolutionary pattern theory."The above is "reverse reasoning" to most discussions on evolutionary thinking. The discussion normally starts with the evolutionary model, then gets so bogged down in hypothetical reasoning that the simple basic logic is lost or not even thought of to refute. This book lives up to it's concept of looking from a Medical Perspective at what is known by looking at human construction and it's "complex interdependence" especially between "Male and Female" through Reproduction. On this point the book observes : Every significant change in the male's reproductive system had to have been met with a reciprocal change in the female's (or vice versa). It may be another way of drawing attention to a similar problem; which come first the "Chicken or the egg?" Only in this situation "both Male and Female reproduction changes had to be simultaneously." This is inconsistent with the concept of evolution as it "pinpoints a necessary development" (not in small increments of change) but "simultaneous necessity for life to exist" and cohabited. The Study looks at the KNOWN; to refute the unknown theory based upon what Darwin Did Not Know in relation to modern microbiological discoveries. The examination of "evolutionary theory" thus does not need to be examined, because it fails the first test based on what Darwin Unfortunately Did Not Know Then, but what WE DO KNOW NOW,(the theme of the Title). The book is written for the non-medical reader in a simply logical easy to understand form to give another way to be freed from the error of Darwinism. It cultivates confidence in a creator (intelligent design) and gives the basis for the author being a Doctor after years of considering the mounting evidence in approaching the question how a Doctor approaches any diagnoses, by looking at the "Know Evidence" in relation to Humans and in doing so Dissecting the Theory of Evolution, concluding it simply does not support what is now known in regards to humans (how complex they are made and the processes involved between the sexes). The book helps to increase belief in Intelligent Design or Creation.'This denial of God's existence was foretold to occur at Romans 1 verse 20 in these words :For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world's creation onward ,because they are perceived in the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable."Are not we a "part of the things made" the medical subject in detail presented within this book of which Dr Michael Behe author of Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution  'endorses by this comment on rear cover of book sum's it up this way: "A marvelous, entertaining, physician's-eye-view of the intricate functioning of the human body."Which might aid is inconsistent with evolutionary theory, giving a reasoning basis to Dissent in favor of a Creator, as the scripture says "having made us wonderfully well" of which this book bares to that testimony, freeing us from any misconceptions.Enjoy! It's logical, easy to understand and written in a pleasant considerate way, really being sympathetic to Darwin Not Knowing What We Know Now.

Fascinating journey into the human body.
The ancients had it all wrong. They dubbed the Pyramid of Giza, and Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Colossus of Rhodes, etc to be the Seven wonders of the world. Little did they know that to find the biggest wonder in the world, all they had to do was look inside themselves. That ability had to wait for the technology that would allow humans to discover what a marvel they really are. As the wonders of what transpires under my skin were skillfully unfolded, my mind was filled with awe. There is no part of the body I will take for granted again. Who can not be impressed that their blood vessels laid out end to end would circle the globe twice? How about the fact one cell is more complex than the space shuttle? Those stories and more await discovery between the covers. Dr. Simmons tells the story with humor and clear, precise language. He is the tour guide on this ultimate, incredible journey. At each stop in the human machine, he reveals in detail the complexity of that particular part of the body and how it relates to the whole. The chapter on reproduction is absolutely mind boggling. The chapter on the development of an embryo gives the reader a play by play account of the development of a new human being. All the major systems of the body are explained in language that makes it fun to read this book. Dr. Simmons is a writer who is also a scientist. This is one of the most edifying books I have ever read. If you home school your children or teach science in a private school, this book is an excellent resource to augment your curriculum.

An enlightening detail of the human body
Though "complexity" itself may not be a surprise to Darwinian Evolution - after all, supporters say that time is on their side - this detailed analysis of the human body clearly shows that the type of complexity we observe is not what we would expect if evolution and natural selection were true. In other words, evolution by gradual change (which is what Darwin demanded must be true) would have developed into something much different than what we observe: the human body is a vast system of interworking mechanisms that would fail if parts were only gradually developed over time. Instead, it makes more sense to hypothesize that the species were created independantly but with common materials. With the flood of recent books challenging evolution, it seems clear to me that it may indeed take more faith to believe in the theory of macroevolution than belief in a Creator. This book is but one piece of evidence which is specialized to detail the human body and the vast amount of design that we observe. It is one thing to say that the human body is complex - which is something everyone would agree with - but it's another thing to observe that the working systems of the human body appear to be "pre-planned" and designed to work together from the start. However, evolution cannot explain nor predict this.Aside from the debate itself, the book is also very informative. I learned much about the human body that still makes me drop my jaw in awe. Nothing that man has made can touch this.

Excellent
I have only read one chapter, making lots of notes, but so far very well written and I am looking forward to getting down to reading more.

The more I read...
The more i read, the more convinced i am in my faith in an intelligent designer. A designer that no one can comprehend.even Darwin.
