Installed this item on January 24th, 2019, bearing failed February 16, 2019. It melted the plastic housing and outer casing enough to stick out and interfere with our right front bumper. Our Neato is no longer functional, will cost at least $150.00 and take 4-6 weeks for servicing, (if possible). Again, see pictures for details.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So I looked at quite a few different kits for my Neato D7 before I purchased this one. I chose this one because it had a balance of the most important things to me. Cleaning tools, price and the parts I noticed that wore out the most.I have been limping the same filter and brushes along for over a year with no major problems.I purchased my Neato D7 from Amazon used, it was missing the brush cleaning tools. Theses little guys make it way easier to pull the my wife’s and the dogs hair out of the vacuum brush. Unfortunately My kit was missing the long skinny comb/ brush in the photos.I carefully inspected the side brush and it is an exact clone. The injection ports from the mold are the same. The stiffness of the bristles; I didn’t go as detailed to counting the bristles but every minor detail was exactly the same. Unfortunately after putting on the new side brush I noticed a flaw. The bristles are not sloped downwards. This adds enough resistance that the side brush doesn’t spin freely. Hopefully I can bend or heat up the bristles enough to get the side brush to spin properly.The filter has the same amount of pleats & material. Just like the side brush every tiny detail is exactly the same and the OEM from Neato.My Neato came with a “Spiral Combo Brush” and this kit came with a “Combo Brush” from my research the spiral combo brush outperforms the combo brush. This style brush come with the older models of Neato vacuums. Time will tell how much it out preforms the one included with my Neato. We are talking about a little robot vacuum not a formula 1 race car where every little % counts.The major differences I can see is that the old one came with 3 brushes and 3 plastic blades. This one has 2 of each that spiral around the shaft. The bristles on the old one also feel a little firmer but this could be because the old bristles are worn down and closer the the base. The plastic on the ends of the brush are a slightly different color orange and feel a little weaker. This should not effect the durability or performance since there is no stress on these parts.The filter in this kit is similar to the original. The pleats have a fine mesh that is designed to keep the hair from clogging the pleated filter. Yes this is true but it is also at the cost of the pleats being filled with ultra fine dust that you can’t get out of the filter easily. This is handy for the manufacturers because most people will just toss the filter when it’s dirty. Filter replacement is recommend every 1-2 months. I prefer to clean the filter by removing the screen. I like to cut the screen back on 3 sides so that it is still attached but I can access the pleats. I use a little tape to hold the screen in place during uses. I hit the filter with a brush once a week to remove the big stuff. When the filter is real bad I spray a little soap & water through it and let it air dry. I have used the same filter for over a year with no problems. Note once I tried to expatiate the drying process with a blow dryer and melted the filter pleats.All in all I’m fairly satisfied with my purchase. This whole kit is the same cost of one OEM brush. Ordering a kit with cleaning combs was a large deciding factor for me, so one of them missing is kind of disappointing. I probably would look for a kit with the other style roller brush and confirm no complaints on the side brush. I would have given 4 or 5 stars if I didn’t have a missing comb and the side brushes worked out of the box...With 2 full sized dogs a toddler and a wife with long hair it’s hard to imagine keeping the floors clean without my little robot!

It's hard to say anything here. Yesterday the return window expired. Today I discovered that the brush melted and broke. I regret falling for the low price. I guess you get what you pay for. Stay away!

I was so bummed when my Neato wouldn't run and kept telling me to clean his brush. I did it over and over and couldn't figure out what was wrong. After poking around on the internet, I realized that a year for one brush is a long time and before I went further into dismantling the Neato looking for hidden dirt, I should replace the brush. I am so happy that it's running like new now. I gave him a fresh filter and a new brush and he's whizzing around the house right now. I love him so much. And.....I do not notice any difference in the sound it makes with this brush over the original.

Although this brush does the job, it makes a lot of noise. If you are around when your Neato runs I would not recommend this brush due to the noise. I’ve always used the Neato branded brushes with no issues but I thought I would try to save a few dollars with these and the saying holds true “you get what you pay for.”

I bought this as a replacement for my Neato D5 (needs the black filters), I replaced the original brush with a non-Neato brand before and it worked just as great as the original. This one (I purchased at the end of January 2019, but didn't get to install it until about 6 weeks ago - August 22, 2019), is not made very well. It does fit perfectly, no issues there and it does clean the floors (hence the 3 star rating). However, each time I clean the brush (I do a deep clean of my Neato once every week or two), and I use the tool that came with the vacuum, the bristles are coming out. I've only used it for 6 weeks and cleaned it probably 4 times. I'm afraid to actually clean the brush because I'll be left with no bristles and then what's the point of the brush? I'm attaching a picture to show what I mean. I won't be buying this brand again.

I bought this kit primarily for the side brushes and I haven't had a chance to try out the rest of the parts. Its clear that the company that makes these has not actually tested them on a botvac. If they did, they would discover that the side brushes are so stiff and do not slant down towards the floor that they don't touch the floor and they get caught up on the body of the vacuum. I tried all 8 of the brushes and none of them would spin. I then cut off about 1/4" of the bristles, which then prevented the bristles from catching on the vacuum, which allowed the brush to spin, but then the bristles are so short after trimming them that they effectively can't sweep anything because they are too short and barely reach the floor. This is clearly a ripoff. I'd save your money and look elsewhere.

I am not having any troubles that other reviewers have mentioned. Mine fit great, and seem to be much more resistant to hair-wrapping than the original brush that came with our Neato D7. Only had it for about a month but it's seen at least 10-15 uses with no problems so far, will definitely buy again.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The brush roller jammed and stopped rotating after a week of use. Had to put the old brush in and return this one. I guess it's better to buy an original one from Neato. My husband recorded a video showing both, check the difference.

These replacement accessories are way better than the original (what came packaged with the vacuum unit itself when I bought it). Would definitely recommend these accessories as they are well worth it. The seller was excellent as well.

So far everything is perfect, fit in my neato botvac 5. Hope the brush is good quality and will last.
