THESE BAGS WORK! Like a champ! And they last a whole lot LONGER in my newish Kenmore upright super-sucker than I ever expected!We're a family of 2 humans, 2 German Shepherds, and a cat. Year before last, we got a beautiful, mostly red & black area rug, which shows EVERY HAIR, and speck of dust!My expensive power-head stick vac (for pets, of course) was barely keeping up. I generally had to vacuum at least 2-4 times per week just to stay ahead of the shedding. But, it's canister filled up so fast with fur, that it had to be emptied at least once per room, and there was fur still stuck in the rugs!On a whim, I bought an almost new Kenmore upright from a friend because it was too heavy for her. ( it has been YEARS since I've owned an upright vac). I was a bit shocked at how much bags for my vac was going to cost…BUT - My rugs are finally, deeply clean! NO HAIR! (at least for a couple of days, anyway) And there's no lingering odor that occurred when other vacuum was emptied. I know my new vac (which has a MUCH stronger motor) is picking up a lot more, and I've only used 3 bags in a year! (my big vac tells me when it's full).The bags say they're HEPA rated, but how I don't know how you would measure that, since we live in the country, (dusty here) with animals and people running in & out all the time. I just know these bags take forever to fill up, and they’re easy to install & remove.Yes, these bags are worth every penny!Will I buy them again, YOU BET!thx,Jelybu

These bags work just fine in my Sears upright Progressive vacuum calling for a type 'O' cloth HEPA bag. There is no denying that these are not OEM bags, but they are a very acceptable HEPA rated substitute. The bags look & feel as though they are made of the same cloth material as the OEM bags. Construction quality is about the same. These bags are bigger than the OEM bags probably to accommodate a variety of styles of vacuums that take a type 'O' bag.The bags may appear bigger due to their slightly different construction/design. Let me try to explain. The OEM bags are somewhat rectangular in design & construction, meaning they appear to have 4 actual sides (think paper grocery bags), while these bags are more of a pillowcase design/construction whereby they are sealed/sewn on the top & bottom of the bags and inflate/expand from the middle outwards like a pillow.The cardboard mounting hole has a rubber gasket just like the OEM bags.Additionally, these bags have a nice little extra that I have come to really appreciate and makes them even a little better than the OEM bags... These bags have a tape-like closure that is at the bottom of the mounting outlet that you can peal up and close the outlet to seal in dirt when the bag is full. - Nice!!I would have never thought this tape closure seal feature would have mattered or make a difference, but now that I've used it a couple of times, I've come to really like it! Now when I take the old bag off to change it, with a quick easy pull of the tape closure up-and-over the mounting hole, no more dirt, dust, & hair sneaks out! It kind of seals in the dirt and I don't have to worry about the mini-mushroom cloud of nasty dust when I put the bag in the garbage and put other garbage in, on top of it. This simple feature is a nice addition over the OEM bags.Having never used anything other than the Sears OEM bags, and after reading many of the reviews, I decided to give these a try and ordered 3 bags figuring if I didn't like them, it was nothing more than a cheap experiment.The bottom line is that I will order more and never go back to the very expensive Sears OEM bags. They appear to work just as good as the OEM bags and I can tell no difference other than the savings in my pocket.

Admit it: We all forget about the vacuum bag until suddenly the "suck" decreases and you can't get the floor/carpet clean. OR, you've bought cheap bags and suddenly the odor from what you vacuumed up the last time comes back to greet you. We have a nice Sears Kenmore vacuum that came with fabric HEPA bags. But with the closure of Sears and Sears Hometown stores, getting a quality bag has gotten harder. I used a couple cheap bags, but was disappointed with the performance. So, I went looking for a proper fabric HEPA bag and was happy to find these. Even better, the vacuum is back to performing at the level we were used to when we bought it. Recommend these for replacement or upgrade from paper filter bags.

Can't say much about vacuum cleaner bags.These are much bigger than the Kenmore ones, much cheaper, and they're made of a cloth that feels like a good quality.Kenmore 31150 has no problems with them, they hold more than the much more expensive Kenmore OEM bags - and they're made of cloth rather than paper (Kenmore type U is paper , type O is cloth).Can't really go wrong here, great deal.You figure you get several vacuums per bag, bagged vacuums tend to be cleaner and have better suction, dust doesn't kick all over you and the air when empty it (throw away, in the case of a bagged) - the fact these are so cheap and of good quality is great to me, makes the additional cost of a bagged vacuum very minimal.

These bags work well in my Kenmore Progressive upright that normally takes 50690 bags. The material seems slightly thinner than the "OEM" bags, but the filtration performance is very good for the price and the capacity seems to be the same. You can't run these totally full because the suction starts to drop off precipitously, which was the case with the OEM cloth bags. After using these exclusively for 4+ years, the inside of the bag compartment is clean, and the exhaust filters also have plenty of life left in them. These are the generic Envirocare bags that can sometimes be found cheaper on *bay.A nice touch is that the cardboard fitting has an adhesive flap you can seal over the hole when the bag is done, saving you from getting "boofed" with dust when throwing it away.

I've used these bags for a few years. My Kenmore vacuum takes O type bags and I started buying these when I could no longer find a Sears store that was open. I like that the bag hold down allergens, as I have 2 dogs. Great price for the bags and this is the brand I plan to buy from now on.
