Simple fix for my table lamp.
Thought I would have to throw my table lamp away until I purchased this unit. Directions were super simple. Now the lamp works perfectly.

It’s worth the money
Works great. Way less cost than replacing the Lamp. Some reviews report flickering, this did it also BUT, I replaced the bulb with a different type of bulb. The issue was fixed. Could have been a bulb such as non dimmable not sure what type I first used.

Replacement for night stand dimmer
My purchase and installation was for a replacement on a nightstand dimmer unit and was really easy based on the wiring diagrams provided. Just to add, I and not a fan of electrical jobs but will do them.In my case, there were two sensor wires, one on each side of the nightstand, and I simply spliced them to the green wire with wire nuts.NOTE: was not a fan of the wire nuts provided and did not appear to hold firmly when I did a wire tug to confirm connectivity. I chose to swap out the wire nuts for different wire nuts.Since I had a solid black two-wire cord (versus white and black wires) that powered the light, I checked the Internet what was neutral (ribbed and large prong side) and hot (smooth side) and proceeded to make the remaining wire connections, tested and good to go.My prior control unit had screw holes that were used to attach the unit to the bottom of the nightstand. For this unit, I used a small piece of pipe hanger strap and two wood screws to secure.Admittedly, I was a bit concerned about a review where the bottom of the unit was melted. Will continue to use and test.UPDATE:I have installed a 20w dimmable LED and works and dims as expected similar to the halogen bulb without the heat.

Works as intended
Great replacement for the touch sensor end-table lamps I have. Fixed them perfectly. You MUST follow the wiring instructions which are provided, though. The first one I installed I matched the wire colors thinking it would be fine. It blew one of the resistors and ruined the sensor. This was my fault not the manufacture's. Their instructions are clear.

Problem solved!! And a word about LED bulbs!
The media could not be loaded. I have a china cabinet that's about 20 years old. It came with a hinge touch light with low, med, and high settings for the recessed lights in the top. Just recently the glue failed in the light bulbs that have been in it since we bought it. (We very rarely used the lights until we recently moved and now use the lights every night) The bulb separated from the screw in part, enough in one of the bulbs that the bulb failed to light up. When I went to remove the bulb thinking it was blown the glass part came off in my hand. Not understanding what was happening I tried to push it back in and caused a "pop-flash" which then blew the bulb and fried the part of the control box that turns the light on and controls the levels of low, med, high. We bought new LED dimmable bulbs hoping that was all we needed. Nope. When the cabinet was plugged in the lights were on. To turn them off you had to unplug the cabinet; the touch control wasn't functioning. So we found this replacement control on my best friend, Amazon, and ordered it. I had read some of the reviews that LED lights wouldn't work with this unit so I also found some incandescent bulbs on another website. These bulbs are 14R40 E26 mini floodlights. Very hard to find in the incandescent variety which will only get harder. So when this box arrived my husband switched it out. Took him 5 minutes at most. We put in the incandescent bulbs and it worked perfectly. Then I thought I've bought the LED ones so lets just try them. They work perfectly as shown in the video. I was only allowed one video on the review so I couldn't post the video of the incandescent bulbs. I feel like there is just a very small difference between the bulbs; the LED ones have a slightly less difference between the high and medium settings than the incandescent ones. As you can see in the video they are perfectly acceptable. Keep in mind these are DIMMABLE LED bulbs, which is probably this issue that others have had. At any rate, this box is a perfect replacement and I'm thrilled to have my cabinet up and running again!!

These actually work really well!
We installed these in our bedroom nightstand lamps and love their convenience. No more reaching for a switch on the lamp or cord. Just touch the base. The 3 brightness settings are great and save you the cost of a 3-way bulb and 3-way bulbs are not cheap!Note: we learned that one of our lamps had an intermittent short circuit between the hot wire and the metal portion of the lamp, which is the sense input on these little devices. As such it only operated intermittently and eventually blew out this little control box. I tore the lamp all the way down to it's bare parts and discovered the little hair-like stray wire that was causing the short circuit. Once I fixed that and ordered a replacement, everything worked great. The moral of the story: if this little control box doesn't work well for you, then it's either a mistake in the install, or an issue with your lamp itself.
