Like many of you in pandemic lockdown, I've been showing off my PJs in video calls through my laptop's webcam. I was using a blackout sticker to keep it covered, but it kept falling off after constant removals. So I ordered this cute little slidey thing. The package arrived with six teeny slide covers but no instructions. Fortunately, my butterfingers were no impediment; I managed to install it without issue. I opened the slide, removed the backing, positioned the hole over the webcam, and pressed. Et voila! A perfect fit!I tried it on a Zoom meetup with friends and it worked just fine. I can hide my messy hair at any time! The slide mechanism moves easily, if a bit loosely; I recommend being gentle with it. This cover blends right in with my laptop and you can barely see it. It's thin enough to close the computer easily; mine went right to sleep like it always does, the lazy thing.I gave the adhesion four stars since I've only had it on the computer for a day and have no idea how long it will last. But it seems solid. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase.

I got a new laptop at home, and they also switched us all to laptops at work. These little things are awesome. They are a perfect size, they are well-made, they work really well, they stick well. It's so convenient to be able to cover the camera for safety and to be able to so easily uncover it when you need it.

I like these covers in that they're small, slim, and are easy to apply. Just peel the plastic from the back and press on, it doesn't budge. You get a good amount of them for the price. Each is about an inch in length, maybe 3 centimeters in width. So, you don't have to worry about the cover affecting how your laptop closes. Cover has a little texture on it, to make it easy to slide open or close.

Quality 3M adhesive, easy to place. I was concerned the glass border on my computer wouldn't accept an adhesive without it sliding or becoming completely ineffective. Sliding door seems delicate, but I don't need my camera to terribly often so it's not a huge issue. Just remember this is stuck on with adhesive, not an integrated piece on your computer and it'll be fine I'm sure.

Get them. I work with Dells, HPs, Asus, Mac, Chromebooks, all of them worked with these. Install is easy as cake and use is a piece of pie. Laptops all close with them installed and the functionality can't be beat. If you are worried about the sticky stuff on your nice pristine iMac bezel, a paper towel with some 'goo-gone' will take care of it. Get them.

Works just like you expect! I've had it on for over a week and the adhesive hasn't come off. Turning the camera on with the slider over it gives a dark screen.

Does not remain in place for more than a coup!e of weeks. Slips out of place and falls apart. Think of these as disposable and buy in quantity of you need to cover lens.

I have these on all of my computers and my iPhone. I don't understand why anyone would use tape when they could use these. Easy to apply, and easy to use, and they fit everything - even my Logitech desktop camera. I had been covering my camera lenses with stickers but bought these the minute I discovered them. AWESOME! Order two packs. Friends will want them and they make great stocking stuffers and gifts!!
