Tektro 2 Sets for Orion Auriga Pro Comp E-comp Draco Aquila Disc Brakes Pads

This is a set of disc brake pads that are made from a ceramic/metallic blend material that are quite when applying the brakes but you do loose some stopping power due to the softer material. Also these pads do wear little more quickly than the semi- metallic type pads. Hard to beat this price so I bought another set as a spare to have around when I need to replace the worn out set of pads on my bike.

I would have given a 5 star but I thought they were ceramic metal compound. These are organic. I should have known by the cost of the pads. There was an old review that said that it was the compound I was looking for.

These are the same OEM brakes that came on my Marin Fairfax 3. Bike is 3 years old and these are the first replacements. I would expect these to last about the same.Easy to install. I also could not find locally' for that matter all bike parts are scarce now.

The concept of changing out my brake pads was scary to think about, but it turned out it is a piece of cake to swap out your brake pads. And since my rear brake was all but gone, I'm glad to have confidence in my brakes again, living in a city of hills.

Perfect exactly what I needed.
