Mil-Comm MC25 Gun and Firearm Cleaner, Degreaser 16 Ounce Spray

This is the best gun cleaner I have ever used. I use this product and the Mil-comm grease and oil on all my guns. It is amazing how smooth my guns operate using the Mil-Comm line. This cleaner really cleans down to the pores of the metal. It cuts my cleaning time in half it just dissolves everything. Ive tried Almost every cleaner out there from hoppes to break free and nothing works as well as this stuff. Plus it has no odor at all so your wife won't get pissed when your cleaning your guns. Don't be discouraged with the high cost it is well worth it and a little goes a long way with this stuff.

Outstanding product

I have been using MilComm lubricant and cleaner for several years now. First started using it when I bought a Sig Sauer that come smothered in it with Sig Sauer's official endorsement. The military has used it for years and now even the NRA has endorsed it. All their products are non-toxic biodegradeable and do not have the foul odor of a solvent. The cleaner is not as good as a heavy duty solvent for cleaning but is designed to be used with MilComm gun lubricants. I have no problems cleaning my guns with it (a stiff bristled nylon brush is sometimes needed for heavy duty caked on fouling) and always use it along with MilComm gun grease or oil.

I’m a Hoppes fan but this seems to clean as well and there is no odor. But I do love the smell of Hoppes.

I am not a chemical engineer, or metallurgist I'm just a firearms enthusiast that wants to keep his weapons in top shape. I have been using the Mil-Comm system for about 2 years now and I'm continually amazed by these products. If you follow the initial directions for preparing your weapon you won't regret the investment in any Mil-Comm product.With that being said, the MC25 cleaner is great. I use it at my kitchen table and I don't have to worry about the smell or damaging the table. This product works best as part of the Mil-Comm system. If you use the Mil-Comm grease and oil to protect and lubricate your weapons it forms a barrier against the fouling. This barrier helps the MC25 cleaner do it's job.

Absolutely great for cleaning carbon residue. No smell and feels fine on your skin.Note: I've used a bunch of other 'general' gun cleaners - e.g., Hoppes #9, Hoppes Elite, Ezox, Breakfree. For general cleaning, better than all of them.It is not a bore cleaner - you'll need something like Bore Tech Carbon Remover or Copper Remover.

This is the official NRA endorsed line of gun care products. I have the entire line and can say that they all work extremely well. This is a particularly great buy for the size of the bottle and the price, (should last me near a year). And did I mention that it is also endorsed by Sig Sauer!!!
