I took delivery of these units today and was encouraged to buy them by the majority of previous user reviews which were very positive. The units are very easy to set up and clearly readable. The display looks great! I hope that they will live up long term to the 5 Stars awarded. I am also very pleased that two units work quite happily from one external sensor which means that I can keep the other as a spare, insurance in case the ravages of the weather cause the external component to fail. Hopefully any revisits to this review will be to confirm my initial impressions!

Very neat looking device. The display comes with a fold out stand so it sits on a window ledge. The sensor has a recessed hook to hang outside. I put batteries in as instructed in both the display and the sensor and it worked straight away, so no set up required. I then kept the sensor next to the display indoors for a while and the display showed the indoor and outdoor temperatures to be the same which to me proved it's relative accuracy. Once outside, the sensor positioned about 5 metres away on the garden fence, continued to work. I'm very pleased so far but will take the precaution of using a cut down plastic bottle to make a little "house" to put the sensor in so that it is not continuously drenched in rain. Now I can always tell if I need my coat when going out for a walk in the evening.

Nice design, large display but beware that the listing photo is artistically enhanced. It gives the appearance of an almost coloured with paper-like white display.It isn’t.It’s gray LCD with some very faint blue and yellow painted lines.The other thing that is annoying for me is the large and proud but weirdly named company logo, in my case “BALDR”. Why spoil a good and simple design with something as garish as a meaningless western-sounding logo?Small gripes I know...I bought two units so I must’ve liked them sufficiently “on paper”...However the outdoor sensor has nothing in the way of water seal or water ingress protection for the battery compartment so watch this space....

Very useful indoor thermometer with outside sensor, bought it to know exactly what's the situation outside, and how many chlotes should I put on in cold season 🤔Easy to set up and to use, the round display is split in half showing dual temperature readings from inside and outside.Also very accurate, I've checked it against another thermometer and results are pretty much the same.Nice design, with colorful display, I find it very useful in terms of knowing the ambient temperature when needed

Always prefer to delay reviewing a product like this to ensure it works over an acceptable period of time and this one HAS FAILED AFTER 6 MONTHS - so buyer beware.Like others who have reviewed the product my outdoor sensor has given up after only 6 months use.I was initially delighted with the product as it was working well and appeared to give accurate readings indoors and out.However after working off the same batteries for months it started demanding battery replacement too often and now when brand new batteries are inserted it’s light appears momentarily and then nothing.The indoor aspect of the unit still works.Well beyond the return date now by now.Disappointing.

This seems to work very well. The only criticism I have is that nowhere in the instructions does it tell you where to position the sensor. I'm sure that most people would work out that it needs to be installed outside, but a bit of information on where and how would have been good!! It was only thanks to another reviewer who mentioned that it needs to be outside and under cover somewhere, that I had clarity. So I've attached mine using a cable tie on a beam under my outside porch about 2 meters away from the main unit (which is inside!) and it all works really well. If you don't have an outside covered area to install it, then I'm sure it could be placed inside a sealed plastic ziplock bag.

It was very easy to set up and is working perfectly.Wife is going mad as I can not stop telling her the insideand outside temperatures.

Think I've been through two of these now. They seem to last about a year then stop working

Auf der Suche nach einem einfachen Thermometer hat mich dieses Produkt angesprochen und auch nach Erhalt überzeugt. Die Verbindung von der Basis zum Außenfühler hat sofort geklappt und funktioniert seit über einer Woche problemlos. Die große Digitalanzeige ist auch von weiterer Entfernung sehr gut lesbar. Optisch ist es schön und zeitlos verarbeitet und passt gut in mein Badezimmer. Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
