Great ingredients, very filling but quite gritty
I was attracted to the lower carb count so I decided to give this a whirl. The pros:Organic & sustainable ingredients.Blended super easily in a shaker bottle.Good amount of protein with lower carbs.Blended well with water, juice and almond milk, separately.Only 2 Tablespoons in 8 ounces of water or juice, and it was surprisingly filling. Carried me from lunch to dinner with no hunger pangs.I personally did not experience any gastro discomfort- no bloating, cramping, etc, that some protein powders have given me.The cons:The grit. Dear God, the texture, especially the last few swallows, is like finely ground sand. Possibly the grittiest protein powder I've ever tried. The vanilla flavor is too mild for my taste. If you haven't had plant based protein before the flavor may seem strange. It's not an issue for me but I can see how some people will need to get used to it. It's a different taste than whey based protein.I think the maker is onto something here, and if they could mill this powder further maybe it would take care of the grit issue? There's too many positives to not continue using it, and mixing this in a blender with liquid and frozen fruit and veggies greatly improves the texture. (Word to the wise)If you're already used to the taste and the grittier texture of plant protein, definitely give this one a try. If you're just starting to switch to plant protein, definitely blend with frozen ingredients to disguise some of the grit.

Another competitor on the market
I've definitely done my share of protein powders regardless if they are whey, soy, or plant-based protein.Whenever I do a green smoothie fast for 3-10 days, I always include 1 scoop of plant-based protein.+ Mixed easy enough in a blender bottle.I had no issues with this totally getting dissolved in my blender bottle nad 30-60 seconds of shaking. Nothing gritty or leftover pieces that may make a person choke on something unexpected.+ Mixed easily enough in almond milk too.The vanilla powder added to unsweetened almond milk was a good combo.-- There are a lot of competitors on the market. So only getting 14 servings for $19 is unfortunate.I'm definitely open to other options that a) provide a full month's worth of 1 serving per day; b) the cost is under $30 a month. This one failed in this regard.+ Clean ingredients. Not bad on these ingredients, even though "organic vanilla flavor" is getting close to "natural flavors", which is a label that many companies use to hide what is really in the product.OVERALL:Taste good.Mixes easily. Not the most economical...as compared with competitor products.Worth checking out.

It could be good for some, not me
Pros: ingredients, good balance and all you need in a shake that could be used as a meal replacmentCons: (as I noted, this is my taste test) Gritty, not very "natural" vanilla taste, it leaves me with a weird aftertaste and feels like I am drinking some powder even when I make it in a high speed blender with ice. I tried with milk and for whatever reason it makes the aftertaste worse.

Decent Plant Based Protein
I like my protein powders as I work out a lot and try to maintain a semblance of a healthy diet. The protein shakes are good meal replacements and keep my calories honest. While I usually consume whey isolate protein, vegan protein has its own benefits but often has a less pleasing taste. This powder is no exception. I’ll stick to my whey, but would recommend this protein for those vegan consumers. Also, I would like to see this product tested by the two big independent labs to see the heavy metal concentrations in this powder, which is a problem with all plant based protein powders (some worse than others).Overall, would recommend due to the good protein profile of the powder.

Vegan, low calorie, and high protein drink base
The Amazon Brand Rawjuvenate protein powder label suggests mixing it with water or juice so I decided to first try it plain with just water to get an idea of the taste. Since I’ve been a vegetarian all my life and a vegan for all this century, I’ve tasted a lot of plant based protein products and have a good basis for comparison. I put the mix and water in a blender and it mixed up nice and foamy and I liked the subtle vanilla taste. Stevia is one of the ingredients but it is not overly sweet. Two tablespoons, blended with 8 ounces of water, provides 21 total grams of protein with only 88 calories.Although I am health conscious regarding my diet, I do like to maximize my enjoyment so I tried several variations that really made this a delicious and nutritious treat for me. Just adding a few strawberries or other fruit and blending the mix with water makes a nice combination but I prefer using almond milk instead of water which adds a few more calories but makes it more filling for me. When I want to really indulge in the evening, I find that adding my favorite liqueur to the blend makes the perfect nightcap. This is a nice combination of organic ingredients which mixes up nicely in the blender to product a high protein, low calorie drink with the omega acids that my vegan diet tends to lack. One doesn’t have to be a vegan to enjoy the benefits of this plant protein drink mix. It’s a healthy, tasty and easy to digest.

Healthy
I was interested in adding more protein to my diet. My doctor suggested (told) me to lay off carbs so this additive sounded like just the thing I needed. Vegan, gluten & dairy free, just what the doctor ordered. I tried, I really tried. The powder does smell like Vanilla, it's a yellow-gold color. Pleasing to the eye and nose. Per the usage instructions, I added powder to several different liquids to find which worked for me. I found it to be pasty and the vanilla smell didn't translate to taste. It would be a great addition to the diet of someone more dedicated than me.
