Works flawlessly with emg active pickups. Only charged once so far and already had a ton of playing time. If you’re installing on EMG’s make sure you solder the white battery wire to the black output jack terminal instead of the white or green to avoid a popping sound when switching pickups. Black and red go to the respective cables on the stock battery terminal. I am really pleased with this product and absolutely recommend.

I have a Squier Stratocaster with HSS EMG pickups and EXG Expander preamp and I was getting sick of having to take out the pickguard to switch out the battery. Since my humbucker is an 89 model I've got a push-pull in the second tone position and this pushed the 9v battery up the cavity, making it harder to reach without taking off the strings. As soon as I saw this item I knew I had to buy it!When it arrived I noticed the screwholes did not match a single one from the squier so I had to do some modifications to the body and after that it all went well!I changed the guitar's bridge as well to a Wilkinson WP6 and I should point out that the Squier bodies are co siderably thinner than MIM, MIJ, MIK or USA Strat bodies and the bridge block started scratching against the Fishman PRO PBK. All I did was set the bridge to float and move the screwholes a tad bit so the springs dont make any damaging contact to the batterypack and added electric tape to the areas so there is minimal scratching. At all works well: the guitar's battery lofe lasts forever and my tunning is impecable.What I mean by the battery life lasts forever: I still haven't gotten the five-hours left indication. Take note that this is my main axe and I use it hours at a time and I only charge it when I remember it might die eventually so this battery pack is the real deal when it describes around 250 hours of battery life or so. There is no change to the circuit, no interruptions and absolutely no ground hum! Every single connection is solid and it maintains an extremely closed circuit. I will admit that I wasn't too surprised with the quality of this product given that I am a big fan of Fishman and I know and trust that what they offer is usually great! This is one of those great products.Big recomendations for those who suffer batteries under scratchplate problems or guitars dying mid gig or mid practice! The solution is here!!!

It just works.It's great and not super expensive.It would have been much nicer if they use USB C for the charging port instead though. They use micro USB, which is a bit easier to wear and tear over time.It powers my Fishman Fluence pickups just fine tho and battery usually lasts all week long before needing a charge. The time it lasts varies on how much you play of course.

I'm writing this mostly to clarify that the connector on this is micro USB, not mini USB as the description says. Since current non-Apple smartphones use micro USB, so you can indeed charge this battery pack with your phone cable if you have any remotely recent phone. And if not, micro USB cables and plugs are cheap and easy to find.Besides that, this battery pack is excellent. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but I installed it on my Strat along with the Fluence Killswitch Engage set, and if nothing else, this is worth the price just so I never have to take off the pickguard to change a battery again. I almost switched to passives until I saw this. And it works with any 9V active pickups - I absolutely love the Killswitch Engage Fluence set, but if you prefer different active pickups, this battery pack can power those too.

Doesn't come with battery as stated, "battery pack"..

USB cable should have right angled plug to allow connection in an open case. Otherwise very good.

Bought a set of used Fishman Fluence Strat pickups and this battery packed works great and is much better than dealing with 9v batteries. Took just a few minutes to install and I've only charged once thus far, when it first arrived.

This is a great battery pack. Charge is just like a battery phone case and fits on the back of the guitar it does stick out slightly but not noticeable and still comfortable. It holds a charge very well. Just make sure you unplug your guitar cable when you’re done playing

The media could not be loaded. No importa cuánto lo deje cargando, nunca se carga por completo y solo dura una o dos horas. Como pueden ver en el video, nunca deja de cargar. Tengo dos de estas baterías y las dos son basura. Tengo otra versión, la de las pastillas de telecaster de esta misma compañía, esas si sirven como deben.Perdida de dinero.

So far I’ve not even come closed to running out of battery. It lasts for days and once a week I just plug it in.
