Kinect Mount Win!
I'm all about price + functionality. I worked hard trying to put together a nice theater room. With a 90" hdtv, and as low as it sits on the cabinet with it's pedestal mount, I could not sit the XBox One Kinect in front-center, as it'd get in the way of the picture. When it arrived, I opened the box and was a little disappointed after looking it over, but decided to go ahead and see how well it'd work. The plastic isn't completely flimsy, but it's not rock solid. It is slim and low profile, which is desirable. The kinect clicked right into place. Once in, it didn't budge and stayed firmly in. I sat the mount with kinect on top, centered it, adjusted the back mount pad, and looked it over. It worked perfectly. Wiggled the tv a bit to see if it would slide forward or fall back. Although it did not, I could see it doing so if someone bumped into the tv.If there was something I could change, I'd include a 3M strip of hook & loop for the back. It has a foamy pad that probably won't slide, but hook & loop would make it not slide at all. I just may purchase a few strips for similar situations, and add it to my setup. Just my opinion.

Has It's Flaws
This Kinect Sensor mount may not be the best out there, as I haven't obviously used any others before, but I can tell you that it does what it says it will do. It's basically gravity that holding it up though. It's essentially made up of the portion that the Kinect that sits on, and a movable, hinged arm that holds the whole thing up. I think I would wager, however, that this may not work at all on slimmer flat screen TVs, as it seems to rely on there being a protruding section off the back of the TV near the top bezel. In any case, assuming it even fits on your TV, it also has a slight flaw, in that if anything were to seriously rock the TV back and forth or exert any force on the back of the mount, the Kinect would topple off the top of the TV and fall in front of it, as there is no support there, but how often is the back of your TV a hot spot of activity? All things considered, assuming this mount will fit on your TV, it works just fine as long as you aren't rocking the TV around, or have a very mischievous pet in your house. Decent enough purchase for such a low price.

Exactly what I was looking for
I bought this to attach my Kinect to the top of the tv, which the top reaches about 4 ft. off the ground. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and keeps the kinect away from the curious hands of my two year old. I use my Kinect for zumba and it from this position it perfectly catches all my movement if I'm standing 4 ft away as it's designed that you can tilt it downwards keep it straight (or point it up) for accurate detection. The only thing that bothered me is at night when I'm watching TV, it was it looks chunky on top of the tv and distracted me, but I found a genius fix that I throw a washcloth over it (the same color as the wall behind) and it's the perfect camouflage. This also hides the kinect sensor (I'm too lazy to disconnect) from detecting me, I feel like I'm being watched if it's on and I'm not using it.

Worth the price but not a universal mount. It might not work for you.
SImple and inexpensive. It worked fine for me. But this is not a universal one size fits all design. From the picture it shows the front coming straight down. Mine is more like C clip. That front side comes down but has a 90 degree bend that comes back. That has to grab onto something otherwise there Is no support for your Kinect. There is also an adjustable arm that has to rest on the back of your tv. So as the weight of the Kinect is pushing down and pulling back, the C clip in the front keeps it from going back and the adjustable arm in the back keeps it from falling down. This is what supports the weight of the Kinect. So if your tv is very flat in the front and thin in the back. Many TV's today fall into this category. Plasma TV's come to mind. This clip probably will not work. I'm guessing a lot of the negative reviews were because of this.

Works great on my 32" LCD TV
With two clips available on Amazon, I went for the cheaper one, and it has worked out nicely. There are enough settings for the arm that it seems as though you'll be able to get this thing to mount pretty well on most any TV (though I could imagine hypothetical designs that would be a problem for it).In my case, the most natural position had the Kinect pointing too far upward, but I was able to adjust it somewhat so that it's quite level. You can alter the fit by modifying the direction of the little swiveling platform on the bottom. The hold is firm enough that I don't think it will ever fall off just from swiveling the TV around (which I do often). It's not totally rock-steady, and a good slap would knock it off, but I'm not too worried about that.Edit: I got a new TV; a 50" Insignia. The clip fits even better on this TV than on my previous one.

Works but beware of angles
The stand works, it is what it is advertised.Only word of cation though, if you currently posses a tv/computer monitor that is angled on the top, you might want to reconsider this purchase. Now my pc monitor has a degree less than 45 which is good although not the best. Because of that angle the kinect stand doesnt lay flush against the surface of the monitor. However the gap is not too big but it is still worrisome. So moral of the story is: Beware of the angle of your tv/pc monitor and judge accordingly. If you want to take your chances, then go right ahead. Just remember to not point fingers in the wrong place because you took a chance. The stand works, but not in steep angles (which is common sense really).

Works as directed. Now it will pick up the yeti
This clip is helpful as it mounts directly on top of my tv in my living room. Before, the kinect sat in front of the tv, and would pickup only the small minions that ran back and forth in front of it. Now, with this, it has brought the kinect up to new heights. And is able to pickup the larger adult sized ones as well. Through no fault of its own, it cannot be blamed for not being able to elevate the kinect high enough to pickup the 6 ft yeti that wonders through the room from time to time. It would be have been great if it could be tilted like the original Xbox 360 mount.
