bought this saw a week ago.emailed scotts to inquire about xtra battery. they don't sell them or chargers! they know who makes the saw but don't know anything else. searched amazon but could not find anything related to scotts batteries or by the saw manufactor TTI.

It's heavy
It works on high hedges bushes. It's really heavy.

Works Great
Use this on an arborvitae that had needed trimming. Used trim the arborvitae with a corded trimmer working off a ladder. The Scotts pole trimmer worked as well as the corded trimmer, job was quicker without having to set up the ladder and extension cord, and I could stay on the ground.

Powerful and Light
We were looking for a name brand leaf blower that is easy for my wife to use. We have a larger blower but was too heavy for her.We are using for leaves and dirt in the garage, sidewalk and driveway and it has plenty of power for these tasks.

Top heavy and not as long as you need it
Overall, a quality unit from B&D. The issue with the unit is all the weight is at the blade end which ends up making the unit a heavy job to handle when reaching for those back shrubs. This is because the length of the unit isn’t really that far given you have to one hand any areas where you need to reach past 6ft.A better unit would have been a extending pole and the weight down by the handle and battery.

You can’t go wrong!
We love it! We use it to blow off the front entry and our back patio. After 20 minutes the strong lithium battery still shows over 80% charge left.

It chews the branches, doesn't cut them
I bought the pole hedge trimmer to help me prune the high bushes in my yard. The trimmer seems to be way underpowered. It doesn't make clean cuts, but instead chews on the branches leaving a tangled mess at the end of the branch. It makes it look like some animal chewed on the branches and mutilated them. This leaves the branches and the whole bush susceptible to desease. I'm talking about very thin to slightly larger branches, 1/8" - 1/4". I definitely wouldn't recommend this tool. I'm going to try to return it to Amazon.
