I am very pleased with this titanium water bottle! It's well-made, with a nice fit and finish. The cap is very thick, and has a thin rubber gasket on the inner/under side for a leak-proof seal. If your primary consideration is the light weight of the titanium, you may want to swap the cap out for a plastic cap, as the titanium one is almost as heavy as the bottle itself! This water container is well made. It seals well, and has not leaked. Neither did it have a metal taste. It is the perfect dimension to go inside a nesting pot I have been using. Together, they take very little space in my 14L day pack. I could not find any other water container with similar dimensions. It is perfect for me.

I love water bottles. I love titanium. Titanium-water-bottle? I'm SOLD!Price tag = wallet sadness. Very pricey. I waited until it came down to the high 80's. You can too. Still, if you are going to travel a lot - do consider that water bottles can be lost (I've lost several already) and that is a big consideration when purchasing. I tend to gravitate towards the cheaper bottles when I travel, and that gives me less mileage than I want with these more expensive bottles. This model with the handle on the lid means I can tie a piece of cord to it or clip a carabiner on it to lower the percentage of losing it - but trust me, I have also lost water bottles with such attachments (and at the worst times). Then you end up re-using the disposable plastic water bottles that you bought at the store around the corner while feeling miserable.Why the 1 star deduction: the way the handle was attached to the lid cover was roughly done. The welding marks and joinery... not as expected at this price. Also, the grinding manner which it screws back closed... Very different from plastic or stainless. It is a little like that "nails on a black board" feeling, but a little more bearable. I took a 1/2 star off for both these things happening simultaneously. You may be fine with them.Titanium looks thick and durable. It comes with a carrier (nice!), but cheaply made (boo). All in all, drop one of those "polident - denture cleaners" in these bottles after giving it a good cleaning the first time, and it feels fresh!All in all, LOVE it, but wish it was more affordable.Thanks for reading my review this far! Great water bottle, the quality is really good, and the lid is incredible. That said the lid is also close to the same weight as the bottle, but the tooling is super cool almost like it belongs on a spacesuit. As for using the lid to drink water well that's another story as it is not tethered and the threads are many, so its several turns off and the back on just for a sip. The CamelBak Chute Mag Universal Replacement Cap fits perfectly and is lighter and has a 1/4 turn magnetically tethered cap, so perfect for drinking and hiking. all an all love the bottle and the original cap but for hiking get the mag lid as an option.

Love this water bottle! Well constructed! Lid is a little noisy but gets better with time. Love that the lid is also Ti instead of plastic like most Ti bottles out there. The silicone seal stays in place but is also easy to remove for cleaning. The lid seals nicely without the need of really twisting it tightly...just rotate lid until the seal seats and give a very small additional twist and the seal is good and will not leak. For those of us coming from wide mouth Nalgene bottle use...you will be happy to know the thread pattern is the same. Pricey but worth it. I will be purchasing another for my wife.

These are the best value titanium water bottles I’ve been able to find. The build quality is identical to another one I bought that was twice as expensive, with excellent tolerances in the machining of the lid and threads, acceptable welding on the top ring, and generous wall thickness for durability. The light weight is as advertised. As advertised the titanium does not impart any flavor on your beverage, but be aware that without the neoprene sleeve it offers zero insulation of hot or cold beverages. I have purchased two and am considering buying more for friends and family.

Loved the lightweight but heavy duty water bottle. Will definitely be my water bottle in my bug out bag!
