Great clock, watch a replay by goggle ing the model number, a few videos online to show the clock playing, this is the best seiko clock in my opinion, the other is the ballerina one.Great sound as all seiko said do, I have the Beatles one in dining room, had to get this one for the living room.Dials open, fairies dancing inside after dials open.It's not as loud as the Beatles versions but loud enough,great music selection, considering this is about their most expensive melodies clock be nice to have 18 or 24 songs but only has 12, the only con.But all 12 good songs, looks great, size is bigger then most seikos, can't imagine anybody not loving this clock, my other seiko is 12 years old never had a repair, hope I'm that lucky with this one, great led lights, 12 lights total, hung it above my tv with no distraction watching tv, love it...

Classic Seiko with beautiful craftsmanship, movement on the hour and adjustable volume. This clock can also be switched between Christmas and Classical music. Very happy with this purchase.

Move over gramps!
Our lives revolve around time. We celebrate it, we waste it, we try to save it, but without fail it we only live in a moment of it. The Seiko Melodies in Motion Clock was a gift to my wife for Mother's Day. I would be understating her approval of this gift if I said she like it! Without having the size and cost of a quality standing Grand Father clock you have an attractive and interesting centerpiece. The melodies played on hour are classic and with quality sound. The feature that I like is that it does not chimes time melodies all night long. The clock is designed to chime during your wake hours. To understand how that is done you can do your own research. Seiko has a name for quality time pieces and this clock is representative of that reputation.

It's a Winner
Very nice clock, works and looks great. This fits over the pantry door in our kitchen, a nice touch.I highly recommend it.

EXPENSIVE Piece of Junk, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
I initially bought one exactly like this from a shopping channel and it lasted 9yrs. I loved it so much that I wanted another one, so I bought this. WHAT A MISTAKE. Apparently, these are not made the same way, since it only lasted a little over a year. I bought it in Dec. of 2020, it is now Mar. 2022 and it no longer plays music on the hour. I replaced the batteries ( Pro Duracell), tried to re-set it numerous times (even taking out the batteries for 30mins, replacing and trying to re-set), but the thing is useless--other than keeping the time. I am going to donate it and replace it with a BULOVA, which is a more reputable brand. I also purchased the extended warranty for the new clock. I hope I have better luck. What a disappointment, for something so expensive and from a supposedly name brand company, too!!!!! GARBAGE. $500 completely wasted.

Beautiful Clock attracting attention from young and old with music and animation!
Very Happy with this purchase. The detail and workmanship is great. The colors are vivid with numerous song options; including some Christmas song selections that you can program the clock to play by flipping a switch. Nice touch with the light sensor, so the music is not played throughout the night. It does take 4 "D" size batteries, so we are wondering how long they will last before changing. After two weeks, this beautiful clock still keeps perfect time. This item was safely packed with quick shipping.
