The digital amplifier board is operated by wide working voltage DC4.5-26V(24V recommended)with reverse connection protection. This digital amplifier is highly recommended for 4-8 ohm speakers. The TPA3116D2 device is a highly efficient Class D audio amplifier with high efficiency of over 90%, allowing high output currents up to 7.5A to allow the amplifier to provide an excellent audio performance without the need for a bulky heatsink. The device can be configured to use a master-slave operation of the sync pin. The TPA3116D2 advanced oscillator / PLL circuit uses multiple sw frequency options to reject AM interference. Sw frequency up to 1.2MHz. This helps prevent noise. The TPA3116D2 devices feature short-circuit and thermal protection as well as overvoltage, undervoltage, and DC protection to prevent total failure. In the event of an overload, the device reports the fault condition to the processor to protect itself from damage.
