Super Pose Book - Your Pets Edition [Japan Import]

This is a high quality photo book from Japan with emphasis on nude and non-nude poses for the practicing artist. Then again, you don't have to be an artist to appreciate the beauty of human form on display here. The book has two sections, the first being more a "Damsel in Distress" photo series and the second a "Pets" theme. There's also a bonus section of the model dressing and undressing which is great for sketching purposes.This book has a good weight to it, smart layout cover to cover, with crisp, professionally shot photos . The young woman modeling is striking yet has a very cute girl next door look. She fits in well with all the shooting scenarios with nothing looking awkward or forced. If you're looking to practice drawing the human form, while adding a new photo book to your collection, this one deserves consideration.On a final note here, disregard the low reviews. Not sure what everyone else here was expecting but maybe do your research before rating a book poorly simply because YOU made a mistake.

This book has a very large variety of poses to use as artistic references. Unfortunately the pages are very thin, and you can see the page behind your current page when they're pressed against one another. It makes it difficult to look at sometimes, and can get confusing in the wrong light.

When I purchased this book, I expected more but as I was flipping the pages, I saw some useful poses but the author could include better poses.Do not purchase this book,I would recommend you to purchase the following:Super Pose Book - Nude [Japan Import]- This book includes really basic and helpful poses, 90% of the book is composes of really good material.

Nice looking models and the quality of the printing are good just not that interested in people in distress and bound or caged. Was not what I expected. My bad I should have tried to find out more about the subject mater of the photos. Some are okay but just not what I thought I was getting.

Overall it was good, but I thought it could have been better. However, the poses in one section are very cute, which I think was the point. The rest were no where near as good as that section, still clean shots and useful poses; but I felt it could have been better.
