Griffin Survivor with Belt Clip for 5th gen. iPod Touch, Citron/Pink

This is my second one of these. I dropped the first one on the cement after several years use, and while my iPod, and the case were unscratched, it did break the clip, (or it would be more accurate to say, it fell on the clip, and closed the clip so securely that I broke it apart trying to reopen the clip.) Anyway, I use the case all the time. The one negative is that you can't have the clip attached while you are recharging if you are using the lightning cable to do so, so I am always taking the clip on and off. The clip attaches SECURELY to your belt loops, waist line, purse strap, or whatever. There was a bit of a learning curve to putting the case on properly, and the clip properly the first time as I recall. The case itself could withstand a world war, I think. And because I get really colorful ones, I can always find it.

This case is awesome !! I bought it for my 7 year olds iPod and the protection it provides is definitely something to talk about !! It covers the charging port until you need it , it has a built in screen protector and best of all it even has a protective cover over the back camera !! Just pick up the rubber piece and put it back when you’re done taking pictures . I accidentally dropped the iPod and was worried , picked it up and it was fine ! It’s a truly awesome case for an active child or clumsy parent !! And the colors are so bright it makes finding the iPod easy !! The rubber is smooth and kinda thick .

LOVE the protection this case affords so much that we decided to purchase a new one 3-4 years later (and put it on a newer model iPod.) It's for our 7yo daughter who isn't rough on it, but accidents happen so it has admittedly been bumped or dropped a couple of times. But you certainly can't tell! The case doesn't even show any damage...it's THAT tough! Would highly recommend this. She won't use the belt clip, but it's well-made and I expect it would last just as long as the Otterbox clips my husband previously wore when he had an Otterbox on his iPhone. We love these Griffin Survivor cases and definitely recommend them to anyone that doesn't mind a little bulkiness for ultimate protection!

The back cover is incredible rugged almost industructable. The front face piece is where everything went wrong. VERY VERY difficult to get on. Once on, the ipod would not function! Tried everything and believe me putting this thing on is no easy feat. Love the back so much that the daughter an I just decided to live without the front cover. $40 is a lot for a cover that 1/3 parts doesn't work right.

If I mow the lawn or paint, I have to listen to music and this case with the clip is a lifesaver. It keeps my iPod secure and if I'm not wearing pockets, the clip is awesome. I broke the clip on my first one so had to buy another. The only draw back is it my ipod can't charge with the case on due to the thickness so the jack won't fit through to connect. I don't always use the screen cover as I already have a protector on my screen although when I do use it, the touch screen still works perfectly. I highly recommend this case.

They last a good bit before the flap by the charging port breaks off. I like them and the price was nice
