Fits skill 3400 table saw to.
I was looking for a miter guage for an older skill 3400 table saw. I bout my table saw at a estate sale and lacked the guage. Throughout the years I tried locating the right one and always had no luck. They were either to thick or to wide. This one fit like it was supposed to.

Fits my older model Craftsman band saw
Finding something to fit the 5/8 slot used by many older Craftsman band saws is getting harder to do. The SKIL 3104 will work with a minor modfication. The aluminum rod fit in the track so tight it would barely move. Looking at the rod a bit closer I discovered the rod had been coated with something resembling paint. To make the rod slide like it should I had to use a fine grit sandpaper to remove the coating on both sides of the rod. The rod worked like it should then. As suggested by another reviewer painting the numbers and degree marks is worth the time to do so. Maybe not the best product but works for most basic band saw cuts.

Good tool for the money.
I have a very old Craftsman router table that uses a 5/8” miter gage. The table still works great and is very lightweight and portable which is why I still sometimes use it instead of my stationary table. I lost the gage many years ago and have had a devil of a time trying to find one. This gage is cheap and not real accurate, but it works for what I need. Probably as good as anything out there and the price is right.

I chose this for a crappy Central machinery (harbor freight) table saw I was gifted
sized as described, you get what you pay for. I chose this for a crappy Central machinery (harbor freight) table saw I was gifted. The table saw had this odd-sized slot but was missing the guage. This Skil miter guage is cheap and the bar is too short for wide stock in this small table saw. No big deal, but I knew what I was getting into. Good price for the product you get.

Garbage
Don't buy this. It's lose fitting and isn't very helpful at all. An empty toilet paper roll would be just as handy. There should seriously be a zero star rating.

Has the hard-to-find 5/8" miter bar!
The miter head itself is molded plastic and pretty flimsy, but I have no problems with that. I'm using this with my excellent Rikon 10" benchtop bandsaw, model 10-306. My larger 14" stays set up for resaw mostly. There is a very slight wiggle in the slot, but not an issue for me. I could probably peen the bar and get it to fit tighter. Has nice little molded in spots for thumb screws so you can add an auxiliary fence for cross cutting longer stock. The best part of this miter gauge is the hard-to-find 5/8" wide bar. Well worth the money.

FITS other brand brand table saws with 5/8" t-slot !
Well nothing to write home about. Not the best Miter Gauge out there.I am just thrilled to find a 5/8" t-slot miter gauge for the missing one on my 22+ year old Hitatchi C10RA table saw!Although it is not a standard size, the t-slot is nice. stays secure and won't pop out of the slot like a standard one. However, you need a saw with a very rare 5/8" t slot.Downside to this size is there are NO aftermarket accessories for this type of slot. But just buying this extended the useful life of my saw.

You get what you pay for...
I needed a replacement miter gauge for my Craftsman saw, but couldn't find one anywhere so I bought this one hoping that it would do. It's close enough and mostly fits in the rails, but what I would like to comment on is the quality of this miter gauge compared to the original Craftsman. My original miter gauge was made of milled aluminum, this one is plastic. The tolerances for this one seems to be a bit loose and I don't see any way to get even close to an accurate cross cut. I'll keep looking for my Craftsman miter gauge, but for now this will have to do.
