Transpack ICE Skate BackPack

I don't know why, (and I saw another reviewer mention it about this particular purple pattern), but the zippers are pink instead of black. I don't hate the difference, but I would have preferred black zippers. So I have no idea which bag patterns still have black zippers and which are a different color since you can't trust the photos listed on the item.Other than the zipper colors not matching the photo they have listed for it, I do love the quality of the bag. It's very, very nice and I will be buying more of these bags in the future with different patterns. I wear womens 9.5 in street shoe size, so I'm one of the largest sizes for a ladies foot and my skates fit fine. The yellow tags shows you can store the skates vertically if you have really long skates. I found I had to tilt my skates slightly in the bag to make them fit, but I didn't need to turn them fully vertical. If you do turn them fully vertical, much, much larger skates will fit. There's a lot of room for blade and boot when its vertical.The middle pocket has plenty of room for my long skate guards, my waxel pads, towel, water bottle etc, with still room to spare. It would definitely fit a helmet if you wanted to stuff one in there, and there would still be a little room leftover for a couple more small things.Wearing the bag on my shoulders is very comfortable and there is plenty of strap left to make it even larger. I don't see why this bag would hurt anyone's shoulders unless they're trying to carry a heavy boulder in their bag.

This bag helped me accomplish a lifelong goal. I have dreamed of rollerblading on a beach boardwalk for years. I live in the inland united states, where the nearest ocean is approximately 12 hours away. I recently flew across the country, and I was in the vicinity of the ocean! So I decided I had to find a way to take my rollerblades on the trip. This bag was perfect. It allowed me to fit my rollerblades AND helmet (I'm a big fan of head protection) all in a carry-on backpack. The helmet section had extra room that could fit clothing (and in my case, entertainment for the plane ride). I was not sure how I was going to accomplish a cross-country rollerblade travel feat, and this bag helped me accomplish my dreams. I rollerbladed by the ocean because of this bag. I would definitely recommend it to others. This was a great bag and was worth the price.

I LOVE this bad. Fits my skates perfectly and with extra room. (My skates are 6 1/2). This bag does a great job at distributing weight, and I tend to carry a lot of things with me when heading to the rink. I bought the bag in black, the material is very durable and doesn't get dirty which is great. I also really love the center compartment, it has SO much space!! I'm able to take everything I need. Lastly, the mesh on the sides is great for airing our your skates so a huge plus. I can tell this bag is going to last me a long time. Definitely a great purchase!

This is a high quality figure skating bag. The mesh pockets let my skates air dry, which means I no longer have to leave the bag cracked open like I did my previous bag. There is room in the middle for me to store skate guards, gloves, a towel and a cube-shaped box of tissue with space left over. The bag is comfortable to wear. There is a small pocket where I can stick my headphones, so they aren't loose in the middle. I consider this a good buy for adult figure skaters.

Let’s face it, bags for our skates are important. They help carry those heavy weights we put on our feet and more. We need a good bag to help us do that.At first, I was going to order the commonly known ZUMA bags. However, when I took one look at their prices, I backed out ASAP. Sure, some may be willing to pay those prices, but I would rather keep those few bucks to go on a vacation.The more I searched for bags, the more I doubted I would be able to find a good one, with a good price. Eventually, this showed up on my list and I thought it looked pretty promising. I ordered the bag, and it came. Everything seemed great.Now, it’s been almost a year and this bag is still going strong. The straps on the back have been holding a lot of weight, and no damage. The vents on the outside are great for keeping my bag smelling fresh and keeping it dry. I didn’t have to pay much either! Much better then spending at least $150 on a bag.I would 100% recommend getting this skate bag, and using it.

This is a strange bag, probably best suited for a teenager if one where to actually use the two straps as a backpack. As an adult, the straps are awkwardly short and the bag is too big for a child under 10 with fully loaded skates and helmet. While the two side compartments can comfortably hold a pair of skates the middle compartment is not so good. I'm assuming you're an average figure skater who still needs to carry a helmet - the helmet will take up almost all of the room and given the shape of the bag will not fit that well. It took a few weeks of using it to realize the bag is too awkwardly configured for my under 10 kids to carry and I end up carrying it by the top handle strap because it doesn't fit my shoulders. If you have two kids, definitely do not buy two of these bags unless they're teenagers who can carry the bags themselves. It's a nuisance for an adult to find the right place to hold two bags and a wheeled duffel bag will be much more efficient.

My daughter is getting serious about skating so we got her this bag. It fits her personality and has room for everything, including warmer clothes for at the rink. It is a big larger and bulkier than I'd expected (especially when worn as a backpack) but I did not look at the measurements before ordering and skates are not small. I would go for a wheeled bag for a smaller child, but my girl's a tween so she can handle it. In spite of the bulkiness, she likes it and I appreciate that it's sturdy. We've had it at least 6 months now and it's like new.
