Do you put this over the factory plastic cover on the phone

I did not use the cover as there was one already on the phone, I did not know that is how the phone came. Hope this helps.

Easy to fit the instructions are On the box but I also watched a video which helped. I didn't use the glue and it was all fine, glue not necessary. Really good product.

Can you take off the screen protector of it breaks?

Yes you can, daughter broke hers and it just peels off and you can replace it, very good quality so I’ve purchased again

Do you still need to clean a brand new phon out of the packet? Or can you just put on the screen protector straight away

Take off the original film and clean the screen, then apply the screen protector please.
