Tops IDT01 IDT Crash Axe

Perfectly made emergency tool, extremely sharp, so be careful when using, balance is superb, made by pros for pros.

This is built like an absolute tank. Very solid. The handle is like a lead pipe and the head is as thick as the laptop you’re using to read this review. Without a doubt, the Crash Axe will last a few lifetimes.... but, if you’re looking for something to throw like I was, this is not the axe for you. The head is way too thick to stick. It’s like trying to tomahawk your target with the laptop you’re using. I would still hate to get hit with it though. All in all, you can’t help but to appreciate it once you get it in your hands... You’ll also appreciate having a wet stone nearby when you realize the guy who sharpened it was most likely nodded off on some kind of narcotics. Still sharp, Just rolled over like a wave right when it breaks...

Solid. Tactical. Effective. This item was as sharp as any knife I received out of the box; quite a pleasant surprise. The sheath is solid; however, there was a slight amount of play with the axe in it. It is balanced, despite it's weight (which is not a negative factor for most applications). All in all, it is well worth the price.

Nice quality axe, with lots of heft to it. You can tell this will last a lifetime with proper care. Also would be handy to have for the Zombie apocalypse... <smile>
