G-Shock DW5600SK-1 Black One Size

The Casio G-Shock DW5600SK-1 is a classic styled digital watch with basic functions and EL lighting. The case and strap is a dark transparent grey - - you will be able to see your wrist through the watches strap. The face of the watch that -isn't- the positive LED display has a reflective chrome coating with minimal text.To get certain details out of the way:- NOT solar powered- NOT radio or Bluetooth synced- no AUTO EL function (wrist movement will -NOT turn on EL light)- water resistance is stated as 20 bar- clock module number (for Casio instructions) is 3229-button A is slightly protected by the case and is 'deeper' than the other three buttons. This is to prohibit accidental ressting of the watch.There is a EL function called Flash Alert that turns on the EL at the end of a stopwatch timer, countdown or alarm. The watch has the expected alarm, countdown, and stopwatch functions. Casio warns coordinating these functions with Flash Alert will probably drain the 2-year battery quicker.This is an attractive watch for someone who wants something practical, mildly durable, affordable, and stylish without being over-the-top. Solar powered and radio sync would have made this the perfect casual G-Shock, but then the MSRP would have been higher.

Though I have the same dw 5600 gshock this will be a great addition to my collection just because I wanted to add it. It's pretty much the regular and trusted dw 5600 but with a skeleton/see through color and it's very attractive to look at. The button on the upper left is designed like that in order to avoid adjusting the watch by accident and other gshock you have to press and hold for adjustment. This is a great addition to your collection of gshock or if you just want a reliable tough watch to have.

This watch is true to G-Shock in the sense of tough and rugged. IT IS WATERPROOF. For my experience it is waterproof however the small clear section on the face does get moisture in it. This does not affect the watch internally at all I took a shower with it, i washed my truck submerging my watch and hand in a 5g bucket like 50 times and it never damaged the watch internally. It looks mean! Dope watch I like the chrome face. I'll be buying the rest of the clear collection by G-shock

This watch is a clear smoke haze. I know the description says black but its more of clear structure with a black hint.

Great watch! Love the mirror finish on the front! I wear it to parties more!Also many people complain of a recessed button that they believe is faulty or broken. IT IS NOT! Imagine bumping into the Adjust button constantly! Itd built to be harder to press to avoid just that. Its a feature not a defect

Exceeded expectations, only wish I had seen the dw6900 first. It's hard to find something different that's not a negative display. I don't know why Casio is offering so many models in negative display, yes it's different and there's a "cool/slap" factor, but they are hard to read and not so practical. I still may get the dw6900 but I don't want two of the same, but I have two black (one of each 5600 & 6900 - better for smaller wrists) and so many negative display options for the 6900. Anyway the boarder around the digital display is like a mirror so that was a nice unexpected touch. I like this watch a lot and consider it my nicest watch to date as I don't believe in spending a lot on a watch, but with Casio I believe it's worth it, as a younger man I spent hundreds of dollars on fancy watches from the jewelry store that didn't last. I know a $20 Casio will last so why not spend $70 on a nicer one?

There are not that many cons except that you can’t really pair it with semi-casual or business attire

Great watch you can wear with anything. East to read. Well-made and has nice features. I like the green color of the light.

Fantastic looking version of the DW 5600. The strap is a smokey transparent. The case is completely transparent and the outer face of the watch is a silver/mirror effect.For some unknown reason some of the USA reviews are claiming that this version isn’t waterproof. They’re wrong. ALL G-shocks are waterproof to 20 BAR. It’s even stamped on the back of this watch for gods sake! So ignore those reviews.
