Memories Are Made Of This

Ray Conniff at his best. Pretty corny by todays standards, but brings back an awful lot of memories.The musicianship is superb,a thoroughly enjoyable trip down memory lane back to the 50's and 60's, even if the technical quality isn't quite up to todays standards. Certainly a good buy.

listening to this CD brought back happy memories of living at home before joining the big bad worls. Home at this time was Beirut but I was anxious to start nursing and so came home. It will always remind me of my dad

I love this cd, I listened it when I was a child, and I was very impressed with this collection of great songs, don't forget that this album was a gold record; beginning with the title song MEMORIES ARE MADE OF THIS, the beautiful TAMMY, the great THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN, the lovely NO OTHER LOVE, the Elvis's hit LOVE ME TENDER, the Platters' ONLY YOU (what a wonderful treatment of the song) and ending with great surprises like YOUNG LOVE and AROUND THE WORLD... SIMPLY RAY CONNIFF!!

For me, this is the most romantic album from the Master of easy Listening Music, I adore TAMMY, YOUNG LOVE, NO OTHER LOVE and MEMORIES ARE MADE OF THIS; thanks amazon for make me dream again.
