The Coliseum Con (Geronimo Stilton #3)

It was good, I recommed it, it was a little confusing at the beginning but it’s goodTo Elisabetta Dami.

My six year old son loves the Geronimo Stilton series and we have many of the books. When I ordered this one, I didn't realize it was designed very differently, much like a comic book. My little guy isn't quite ready for this and prefers the chapter books. It does come in a nice hardback format and seems well put together. I'm sure it won't be long until he appreciates this style of book...so we'll just hang on to it until then.

Love Geronimo Stilton. These comic books are awesome because they are fun for kids and adults to read and have some history in them too.

This is the first book in this series that I've read; I did only because it was set in a version of ancient Rome. While I could argue with some of the specifics of the historical facts, that would be the historian in me picking on the book; for kids this is an okay introduction and I liked how the facts were in side boxes so you could ignore them or read them. The art is fine and probably appeals quite well to kids of certain ages.My biggest problem was the story itself and the action. Too slap-stick in nature, not specific enough to the time period the group of adventurers go, and not enough time spent in said era. Also why are the cats and mice about the same size?

Every book the cats always loose maybe in the end Geronimo Stilton and friends don't always need to unmask them instead the Pirate cats could unmask themselves.

Simply five stars. I like it very much. One of the best graphic novel from Geronimo Stilton that I have.

First ever comic I've ever seen. I like to read Geronimo Stilton but the comic's are more fun.Signed me

My 8 year old boy loved it and is asking for the rest of the series, given he isn't naturally inclined to read history books this is a big compliment!

Il libro è ben fatto, le vignette hanno colori vividi ed il testo (in lingua inglese) è ben leggibile per un bambino.Purtroppo si tratta di un libricino con non molte pagine e quindi è, a mio avviso, abbastanza caro.

Una bella avventura in stile Stilton per conoscere un po' di storia e migliorare la lettura in inglese consigliato per chi vuole imparare L inglese con i fumetti.
