Great sub, can't beat for the money.
I was a bit skeptical due to rumors that alpine had gone down hill quality wise. But I pulled the trigger in this sub anyway taking a chance. And it was the highest power rates sub that would fit my enclosure for under $400. And man was I surprised. This thing with only 300W RMS in it sounds amazing in my car. Well worth it.

Bass and quality you can appreciate
Perfect depth for the bandpass enclosure I've had for way too long. Deliver deep consistent bass. As close to Type-R performance as you can get with a great price.

The reviewers are telling you the truth. This speaker packs a mean punch, I ran it with a Alpine MRV-M500 Mono V-Power Amp in a sealed box. I can't be any happier with the tight bass (with no trunk rattling) coming from this one sub. I highly recommend it to all.

Great subwoofer for trucks!
This subwoofer replaced a Kenwood and the difference was significantly better! I knew Alpine made great products but I was blown away. Lastly, this subwoofer is specifically for trucks and small spaces wow.

Value for money.
You'll need the knob for sure to fine tune the bass levels. A box had to be mounted in the rear boot to hold it & avoid rattling.

They are good subs that have a distinct sound to them
They are good subs that have a distinct sound to them, but they can't handle the recommended 750 rms for 2. I have dual 10's with a pdr-m65 amp (650 rms) and they've both blown. They do pack a punch though, and sound awesome. I'll be ordering again because I love the sound that comes out of them, but be careful if you're getting up in the higher watts for these.
