Goya Manteca Refined Lard, 2.5 Pound

Made and froze my pie crusts!

I figured I would try this as Lard has been around for a very long time and people stayed healthy when they cooked with it. I’m definitely going to keep this as a staple in my kitchen. Goya is a top brand for choice of products in my house, good purchase and I’m happy I made the change.

From lard I can make soap. From lard I can store meat from spoilage for many months. From lard I can make a food that never goes bad. Made from dried meat, dried fruits and vegetables. All held together and locked from spoilage all from this gift called lard. It has so many good things it can do. Our grandparents knew the gifts that lard give. All should ask them of the many thing lard is good for. Because you can't learn this knowledge anymore. Corporations don't want you to know this knowledge.

Smooth, snow-white and great flavor, at a very reasonable price. Animal fat is more healthy to cook with than most vegetable oils, and the taste is better than corn, Soy or Canola oils.

What can I say, it's lard. Worked for my masa!

Item arrived in a paper mailing envelope. Not good considering the lard is in a plastic tub and at some point was subjected to some type of force that punctured the plastic tub. Now I have to keep the tub in another container. Great product by Goya but bad shipping practice by the seller.
