13603 Brownie Maker, Purple

I got this because I love brownies but hate to bake them, even in my advantium oven it seems they take forever. This little brownie maker is great, it is super easy to use, I just spray with coconut oil cooking spray and drop in my duncan hines brownie mix and 10 minutes later perfect brownies. You leave the insert in the pan, drop the mix in, close the top and cook.And every perfect square has a chewy edge, like teh brownies closest to the edge and corners in a classic pan. When you remove the seperator, they are already cut perfect and slide right out, no mess. The price is right too, keeps a clean kitchen, and just in time for the holidays. The only bad thing is the weight gain that lies ahead for me now... For reference in capacity, I bought a box of the duncan hines mini brownies that make 12 in the paper cups, and it made one batch of 8 mini squares using the seperator in this pan.

The unit over heated. It got so hot it melted the plastic. That didn't seem safe or electrically sound so I threw it away after 3 uses. Plus it burned the outside and the inside was still raw.

It's really small - looks so much larger on the picture. I haven't used it yet because I needed larger brownies, so I used another method. This will probably work really well for small squares, and will use it later for those smaller brownies.

I recently purchased this brownie maker and just simply loved it. I am a vegan and do not consume egg, so I used my own chocolate egg less brownie recipe and they came out great. I made them on valentine and my husband loved them. Would be trying out some strawberry and pineapple brownies too.

Happy with this item. Purchased for my 10 year old granddaughter. She enjoys making brownies and little cakes in it.

My son loves these brownies and asks for them every week. They come out faster than the oven and still have a great taste.
