These were great, easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I used them in a Halloween prop project.I'm using two speakers, each will has its own lm386 amplifier and 9volt battery. They are fed PWM audio output from a microcontroller. The lm386 breakout was purchased from Amazon, they were a bit over a buck each. As another reviewer said, you probably couldn't buy the components that cheap.I 'fried' the one pictured by accidentally touching the positive lead from the battery to the ground on the breakout. Be careful about polarity on this one, they are not forgiving. I considered trying to replace the SOIC lm386-1 chip on the one I fried, but I doubt I could get a replacement chip for less than the price of a whole new board.I didn't understand the reason for the two ground pins at first, thought it was silly. Until I realized that I was the silly (ignorant) one. The two ground pins very conveniently allow you to connect the ground planes from the power source and the audio source. They are actually pretty much essential. There is a bright LED on each board, I carefully scraped it off to save power. With the LED the lm386 was drawing about 9.7 milliamps when idle. With it removed that dropped off to 1.2 milliamps. That should be significant for life of a 9 volt battery.I prior had salvaged the speakers from an old itunes docking station. Recycling them here, they are working very well with the lm386. The output from the lm386 is just right as it is set and plenty loud (and still clear) from the speakers.

small size, easy to use and connect
exactly as pictured, excellent product, it would have cost me more to build lm386 amp then the module cost, excellent value and fast delivery Would recommend this supplier. 5 stars

Works great in audio frequency, not low frequency
I tested 4/10 that I received and they all work great in audio frequency 20 Hz - 20 KHz as expected. Unfortunately they don't work at less than 1 Hz which is the frequency I needed for my application. I tried making the feedback capacitor in the gain loop really large (200 uF) but it still wasn't enough to get really any gain at 0.5 Hz. I attached a schematic I created which may be of interest to some.

Good bargin for diy fun
I've only tested a few. That being said they're excellent little boards for DIY and prototyping. No issues at all so far. They're obviously not for audio files but they definitely do the trick for fun little diy projects

A few were damaged. Some component misalignment. Counterfeit chips. But works.
Couple of headers were mangled (might be due to shipping). Virtually all the boards had a misaligned header, trim pot, screw terminal, and/or output cap. These are the larger components on the board. The smaller SMD components looked good. The LM386 chips look like they're from National Semiconductor (it should be Ti, since they bought them out in 2011), and the other markings don't match. Guessing they're counterfeit.Output cap for this circuit is anemic at 100uF. It should be at least twice that. The individual snap-off boards have no mounting holes. You'll have to get creative to mount these. All that said, though. They work. Sound quality isn't all that great, but unlike a lot of other cheap-o low power d-class chips, they don't pick up as much noise from voltage regulators etc. in cramped spaces. They also work well for doing PWM audio. A lot of the low power d-class chips, can only handle -0.3 - +0.3V, which would mean dropping your 0 to 3.3V signal by a factor of 10, which of course, means your wrecking your SNR.In sum. Worth the price. A few small changes, and these would easily be 4 stars. Use legit Ti chips too and I'd give it a 5.

These Little Amps WORK !
I build Blue tooth speaker and was tired of providing my own Amplifiers from other places like stereo's, radio's etc... These little amps are on board self explanatory connection makes and simple to use! I think they're GREAT FOR THE PRICE!

DOESN'T WORK
So far 6 out of the 10 do not work at all (don't know if I will waste any more time with the other 4). Before you say that I must be doing something wrong; I took all the external components (speaker, mic and power supply) from a similar product that was working fine and connected them to this board and NOTHING. The board is plainly marked so it is not improper connections.Save your money. I found something on eBay that works great (DC 5V-12V Micro Electret Amplifier MIC Condenser Mini Microphone Amplifier Board).

Replaced a volume amp from 20 years ago!
My technician accidentally blew a small single line amp that was wired weird. This out of a week of research was one of the few that was qualified to replace it. Once we installed it we were able to get it functional by exact wiring. Thank you! Saved the job on a building in NYC on Park Avenue for such a simple product.
