Great fit

These things are definitely made for a JK/JL, but given they're almost 1/2 the price of the TJ brackets, and nicer, I figured I'd give them a shot. Like others have stated,the bolt holes don't line up, and instead of drilling, I just used the single bottom bolt, and tightened it up good, it doesn't move. The stick on foam gasket helps hold it in place. The mounts do make it a little tight removing the cowl cover, so may want to leave them a bit loose until your wiring is ran and the panel is secured back in place. I have gone through my woods and while tree branches moved my lights, they did not move the brackets, so I'd say they should hold up well with the single bolt. If not, it wouldn't be too difficult to open up the top hole to get a bolt in there as well.

I knocked it down a rating because the coating chipped off at a corner which tells me it's not going to last too long. I have some industrial enamel spray paint to touch it up with and it'll be fine. The weld quality looks to be good and can take a beating. I like that it has 3 options for different lighting configurations: long slot, large round hole and smaller screw holes side-by-side. I plan to buy another set to mount some more lights on the stock bumper and with these I can easily drill the holes to bolt this on. These are less costly than other mounts and if I was worried about showroom quality then I would spend more. But, given we use our Jeep trekking through areas that will beat these things up I would have to do some touch up repair anyway. In fact, the Jeep itself is going to need a new paint job because we use it for adventure and exploring the wilderness not for cruising around the mall. If what you want is something practical, inexpensive and can handle a branch to the face then I recommend these. If they were complete garbage I would say so.

These are more than worth the money. When replacing the fasteners i used anti seize.
