I have new pavers in my backyard and wanted to protect them from damage while I use my offset smoker and Big Green Eggs. I needed a product to stay flat, could take some burning embers and ash, not absorb grease, folded well for storing, and is easy to clean. This mat absolutely covers all of this criteria. I now have several of them and create a six foot perimeter around the smokers and working tables. After several cooks, not one paver has been burned, greased, or damaged. I am very impressed with these mats. I am a verified buyer, not a writer.

This product is what we were look for tp put under our smokeless firepit. Looks very good and is thick enough to protect our outdoor patio mat.

This is the second mat we’ve purchased for a 36” diameter fire pit which is located on our wooden deck. The dimensions are true to the listings and provide an adequate catch ring for embers that may get a little to jumpy and want to lbs outside your bowl.Contrary to other reviews, it relaxes quickly out of the bag once placed down and spread out. The folds and seems aren’t too pronounced or stiff. The edges are really reflective and help you know where the edges are easily. We recommend this product.

It definitely does the job! Great product! The only weird thing is that it seems to attract ants. I had 1 fire on it, didn't eat any food on it, and the next day there were 15-20 ants on it. They must be attracted to the coating or something. Other than that, great investment!

We put a fire pit on the deck. If you do this recommend users pavers as well. Mat is fire resistant, not fire proof.

10 inch space a must

Only protects from flying embers. Bought it thinking it would protect the grass from the heat of a raised fire pit but it does not. Went out the next morning and there was a dead circle of grass where the fire pit was the night before.

地獄の業火レベルでは焚き火してませんが芝生へのダメージはなさげ。ちなみに焚き火台はスノピ社のスタンダードなヤツ。火の付いた薪の塊が落ちればシートは焦げる。気付くのに遅れると多分穴が空く。綺麗な状態で使用は出来ない代物です。日本人でウッドデッキで焚き火なさる人は極稀だと思うけど背の高い焚き火台ならこのシートでもいいんじゃない？　地面ギリギリの焚き火台で地獄の業火レベルの火を焚くってことはしない。たかだかペラペラのシートにそんなの求めちゃいかんよね。私は芝生へのダメージ軽減と焚き火台の灰の後始末が楽になればと思ってこのシートを買いました。おかげで、灰の処理は楽チン芝生も守れて良かった。
