HF Short 20 Meter Mobile HF Stick Antenna 3ft

To compromised for my liking… stick with the full size ham/shark stick.

I mounted 2 of these I a horizontal dipole configuration on top of my International Prostar semi. Using an Icom 713 100 watts and a LDZ tuner I made a contact in Midori City Japan from Baltimore MD. Another time transmitting from Yaesu FT817 5 watts I made a contact in Portland OR from St Louis MO with no tuner

I have 3 of these for 15m, 17m and 20m. I use them with a 5" magmount on my Grand Cherokee. Running 100 watts on SSB, I have worked many dx stations on all 3 bands. Signal reports have been amazing. I have been able to break through many pile ups with these antennas. SWR is less than 1.5:1 without my AT-180 tuner. For the nay sayers about magmounts and stick antennas, don't believe it. They work! It is a bonus that these antennas actually have a slightly lower profile than my vhf/uhf dual bander. Only the 20m antenna is shown on Amazon, but if you want other bands, order the 20m and contact the supplier and tell them which band(s) you want hem to ship. E-mails sent to the supplier are promptly replied to.

It's short and limited use

The antenna works surprisingly well. I recently worked the middle east from my car from Richmond, VA.

It matched 50 ohms at 14 MHz and I made contacts with it including DX using 50 watts. It was hard, but it worked.
