One of the batteries was dead. You should try them and charge them right away.

I've only had to use it twice so far but its seems to work fine so far. The first time I used on of the batteries, I took maybe 30-40 pics and the battery meter was still full.

it works 101% i was hoping for, & it charges quick, very very satisfied, would recommend!!!!
