Possibly unsuitable for isolating gravity head water supplies
I spent a couple of hours draining down my gravity fed hot and cold water supplies to install these valves. When I refilled the system with water I discovered that both valves leaked water when fully closed. Possibly ok for use on mains pressure but I wonder about the manufacturing quality of these valves, given that one valve was closed by turning the screwdriver slot clockwise and the other anticlockwise. I have asked the supplier to confirm the suitability of these valves on gravity fed systems and they have requested this info from the manufacturer. After spending a further couple of hours draining down my system again I have replaced the valves with those from a different supplier and these valves are performing correctly.
