Works Great - Keeps things Organized (After a Defective Unit was Returned)
The first one I bought was defective, but I have to commend the company for promptly returning my email. They simply told me to return it to Amazon and buy a new one, which I did.The second one works perfectly. It was a little bit of a challenge to install the mounting screws into the underside of my desk, but I'm glad I did. I have a lot of USB devices, and so I use this underneath my stand/sit desk to bring all of the devices into one USB connection which goes down to my desktop on the floor.I currently have the following plugged directly into this thing: Logitech webcam, Streamdeck panel, a small USB hub and card reader, and two monitor USB hubs (which don't really get used as hubs, but one is also a touch screen).

5 stars for replacement (original one quickly died, Amazon replaced it)
UPDATE: After 3 years of occasional use, no problems. 4.75 stars.UPDATE: Amazon replaced the faulty hub (thank you). So far so good after a few days. Upgraded to 4 stars, will update if performance changes.Original review: 1 star, because I can't choose zero. Died quickly.Ports started going wonky (not all 7 working). After 5 weeks, all ports are usually dead (sometimes I can get ONE port to work, after much trial and error). Tried new power supply and new USB cord; still nothing. It's not my computer's fault; an older, 5-port hub (not Vantec brand) plugged into same ports works fine.

Good other than it's 2 hubs in one box
This is a good hub, I have no complaints other than it's actually 2 hubs inside 1 box. If you're getting up there in the number of devices on a single USB port on your PC, having 2 hubs in 1 box when you expect only 1 hub is annoying, as USB 3.0 will limit you to only 32 devices on a single bus instead of the much higher number of devices on USB 2.0 (it's not really 127 devices on USB 2.0, likely you'll be limited by your host controller to something like 60ish devices, but that's still way more than 32 on USB 3.0).The case on this hub is sturdy, I like that it has a physical power switch, and I like that the port LEDs light up when a device is active (just wish they weren't blue, I dislike blue LEDs).

Ports didn't work and one broke
I was very excited as this hub had the ability to secure to a wall, but this product let me down and almost cost me hundreds of dollars. While I've only owned this for just over a month, ports sometimes just didn't work, and I would have to switch to another or unplug and plug back in. I use audio recording software that requires USB dongles to hold software licenses. They take little to no power, but had the most issues. When unplugging one, the internal guts of the hub came out stuck INSIDE my USB dongle which could have put my business down for days and cost me a fortune to replace. I was luckily able to get them out. Would not recommend.

Mac Mini startup hangs when this USB hub is connected
This hub has a nice solid build with a metal shell. Although having the ports on the top makes it easier to plug in cables, it looks very messy with so many cables sticking up in the air.The blue LEDs for each port are nice for indicating that the port is active. They are not overly bright either. The power cord could be longer. It barely reaches from one side of my desk to the other. (Computer is on one side, the UPS is on the other.)As soon as I unpacked the hub, I plugged it into my 2018 Mac Mini. I plugged in a few devices and each of them were recognized. I cloned my startup drive to a portable drive attached to the hub and it worked without an issue. Then I tried to boot from my backup...I restarted and the Apple logo came up, but nothing else happened. It just hung.Thinking that the backup drive was the issue I disconnected it and restarted again. Same hanging behavior.I unplugged all of the devices from the hub and rebooted. Same hanging behavior.I turned off the power switch on the hub and rebooted. Same hanging behavior.I unplugged the hub from the Mac and rebooted. The Mac started without issue. So clearly the hub is interfering with the Mac startup process. I can plug it in afterward and it works fine.I am very disappointed. This was not the cheapest hub available and I thought I was buying quality. Now I don't know what to do with it. Digging into the closely packed cables on the back of a Mac Mini to unplug it every time I want to reboot is not acceptable.

Been reliable for me
Throwing my 2-cents in 6 months after purchase. This seemingly well built product has performed flawlessly for me - though I've only used the 1st three ports until today. Just hooked up #4, so, keeping fingers crossed that this 7-port doesn't exhibit the same problem reported earlier. Just a small tower with more external drives than the tower has USB 3 ports for. .<Mar 28 2020>Now using 6 of the 7 ports with everything from antiquated USB 2.0 label printers to a monitor upstream port, UPS, and several USB 3.0 external HD's. Maybe I should have bought the other one that has even more ports :-)

Quality Control Issues
I purchased 2 of these and 1 of the 10 port hubs. One of the 7 port hubs work beautifully. The other is hit or miss. Some ports work, sometimes they don't. Not all the lights turn on when devices are connected. They come with a 1yr warranty, but you have to send it in, and the process is cumbersome. My advice is to test all the ports and multiple devices within the first 30 days so you can return through amazon if it doesn't work.

Great for arcade builds
For my arcade cabinet build I needed a USB hub that I could securely attach to the box housing the controls and provide enough power for the LEDs in the buttons. This USB hub has the number of ports I need, is powered, and has little feet (detachable) I can use to screw it down so it doesn't move. See the picture of it in the controls box above the power strip. So far it is working perfectly and I'm very happy with it.

Excellent Build Quality; 150 MB/s with Large Files
Excellent, Best Build Quality ever; 150 MB/s transfer speed with Large Files - this is the max that can be expected with USB 3.0 . The moment I plug a device in, it appears on my pc within 1-2 seconds. I am very pleased. This hub has exceeded my expectations.

Solid device
I bought this to replace a cheaper one that fell apart. No quality issues with this one, and the speed seems great as well.I would buy this again.

Great product
It does its job and the ability to mount it is great. The lights are subtle and useful.

Didn't even charge, and LEDs didn't work at all.
I refunded this because it didn't work and the lights didn't work either, I tried plugging to wall or computer usb, neither worked, so I refunded tried again, and it didn't work so I refunded for my money back, terrible I bought a plastic one that works, and works alot better. For less money.
