Decorated my birthday cake with it and it was perfect! Sheets were small but the measurements were correct (I ordered two packs) and I used 2 sheets for that top layer.

The Gold leaf was exactly what I wanted. It was perfect. However Amazon -as the seller, was extremely out of line and disappointing. I was just scoping out the choices and delivery options on Tuesday 9/16/2016. I was considering getting "prime" and clicked on it in the first view of purchases. Checking on my bank statement , I realized I would not have enough money to cover the purchase until 9/18. I NEVER finalized the sale! My family said they had a "prime' account, which I was going to use. When I went to purchase it on 9/18, I saw that 'Prime was already activated. I did not realize that a purchase for gold leaf was also bought, so I purchased another one. It basically cost me $99 +11.89 +7.90 = $118.79 , plus $61.50 in OVERDRAFT charges(Total of $179.29) for the purchase that should have cost me $7.90. - I would have had free 2 day shipping using my families account! AHHHH!!! I would appreciate a refund of the Prime account and a gift card for the $61.00 loss Amazon created by jumping the gun and processing my order when it was NOT completed yet!I am a very dissatisfied customer, Donna Ferrett

I've used craft gold leaf before which was great imo. This, however, is much harder to break up. I used it in lipgloss so it functioned well enough, I just would've rathered the chunks a little smaller. It's also not flavored at all. I thought since it was edible it would be somewhat sweet, but it was like eating paper. Again since I used them in lipgloss, it wasn't an issue, but be noted!Lastly, the squares are about 1.5-2 inches wide, which was an unfortunate surprise. Again with craft gold leaf the squares were a lot bigger, about 4 inches wide, so I have to use them sparingly to really get my money's worth. Overall, they were not as good as expected but did the job.

My first ever attempt at gold leafing, and it was about a thousand times easier than I thought it would be. I’ve been collecting shells I wanted to gild for years now, and my first ever attempt at an oyster jewelry tray (made with the Mona Lisa alloy gold leaf) and little shell to be made into a necklace (made with this real 24k leaf) came out absolutely beautifully and I already have friends demanding them 😂 the adhesive is extremely easy to apply (thin coats people) and works great. I sealed both projects with Kryolan spray poly and after 12 hours try time there is zero transfer and they’re shiny and beautiful. For future projects I will only be using this leafing- the difference is visible in the photos and it truly looks like real gold.

The media could not be loaded. This product is being falsely advertised as "24k gold leaf" and "edible" when it is clearly neither of these things. I purchased it and tested it and can confirm that it is most certainly not gold as the seller claims. It is imitation gold leaf, composed mostly of copper which is toxic and not safe for human consumption. I have video footage of the test I conducted and I see that there are already videos from other customers who have also tested the product and come to the same conclusion. In fact, there are numerous one star reviews for this product making the same statements i.e. that this product is not gold, as advertised. These reviews go back several years so somehow this seller is managing to get away with selling a toxic product as edible. Please can you stop them doing this.

The idea is neat but these are so tiny amd hard to use. You also need to make sure you use tongs or extemely dry fingers or it sticks to your finger. Also it tastes kind of like eating plastic wrap... But, people love the idea of eating gold.

These thin mini sheets are great! If you don't know anything about working with these, you will need two sets of tweezers to break apart since they WILL stick to your fingers! These come neatly packaged and are so much better than trying to save the extra when working with large sheets. No excess waste and easily stored so they are worth there price. I will definitely be buying these again!
