I got this unit because I know that I'm not the world's greatest housekeeper. It does a great job. Sometimes, I supplement it by spraying the furniture lightly with Febreze. Do some Internet research, and you will find that different aromas are good for different things, alertness, relaxation, stress relief, and more. Just do a search on "essential oils" to see what comes up.Be sure you follow the directions and plug it in so that it is correctly oriented. In addition, you might want to consider not keeping it in your bedroom, as the pleasing aroma might be a bit strong for some noses.Keep an eye out for coupons, as I sometimes see coupons for refills in the local paper, so I stock up when I can. Sometimes, you can get Customer Service to bring Amazon's price down to match prices on other sites.

Smells great but scent isnt strong after first day and it goes very quickly

Scent plug smells really nice, but the scent is short lived and downs fill the room, just the vicinity of the outlet.

I thought these would be good for the two rooms that have my cats litter boxes in them. I have six rescue cats that stay indoors. I do buy good litter and scoop it daily. It is not that these didn't work but the warnings on the packages for breathing the vapor and having it get into the eyes. Really? And they are still allowed to sell these?

This product is a good value for its quantity. Last longer too!
